Just put you eliquid in the infamous 1 quart plastic bag, and you will have no problems. I travel Internationally weekly through one of the most notorious airports for crackdown security.
Even though as flight crew I have slightly more leniant rules, even when travelling without uniform and ID, I have had no problems.
Safe travels!

What about filled carts, RIA - do you recommend putting those in the bag, too?
(what airline are you with, btw?)

dont worry about your filled carts. They are not filled with enough liquid to matter. just put them anywhere.

I thought that *might* be the case, but wanted to make sure before my vacation flight next month.

Better safe than sorry, I understand. For anyone wondering about what items are prohibited go to TSA.gov and you will be able to find the list there. I dont think I can post a link yet but go to the travelers tab and its pretty self explanatory.

Here's the link 13ways;
TSA: Prohibited Items
Yes, better be safe than sorry. Had an incident in Omaha. The guy was a real wiener. Took an item from me that wasn't on the list. (Not e-cig related.) When I pressed him for a reason, he called security. I ended up writing to TSA. They apologized, and sent the item back to me.
For the most part, everything is good, but you'll occasionally have a problem.

Let me apologize again because even though I am by no means the voice of TSA it is officers like that who make me look bad. I can say that there are people like that even where I work but for every one of them there are ten hard working friendly TSO's.
