Traveling with ecig
I was wondering if anyone has had problems flying with their ecig. I plan on traveling with one complete filled 510 on me and packing everything else (liquid, battery, charger). I'm a little concerned about having it confiscated while going through the security check. I don't plan on using it on the plane, or even in the airport. I just want to have it on me when landng. Any info would be appreciated. BTW-I'm flying within the continental US if that makes a difference.

Good question... I will be traveling next week as well and will be interested to see the responses. My plan was to pack the cig in my carry on. It will probably look like a battery or a laser pointer. I will put the liquid in one of those quart bags and see what happens I guess. I am not checking any luggage....

I just flew from Japan to Thailand and back with my 510 in my carryon. I packed my liquid in the clear plastic bag with my makeup. I got no questions or hassle at all.
Oh, and I took a vape break every hour or so in the bathroom on the plane. (I blew the vapor at the floor.) If anyone noticed me trotting back and forth, they must have thought I had food poisoning
What a difference from the old days of sitting through long flights fiending for an analog!

Just be sure you arent carrying any single bottle of liquid that is over 3.4 ounces and you should be good. The egig looks a bit more ominous than a laser pointer but dont worry about it being confiscated. At worst your bag will be tested and you will be asked a couple of questions then allowed to proceed. At best you will sail through with no issues at all.
