    Default Customs at JFK Airport

For those who have ordered from China, how are the customs at JFK and how long should I have to wait before I get my package through customs?

Once in customs you might have to wait a few days...

    Sometimes not.

Well within a couple hours my package will have been in customs for 2 whole days. I'm getting scared and concerned that I wont get my package before I run out of juice.

I'm tracking it with EMS which is the service the website uses to ship from china to US. So how would I be able to track my package from USPS?

Out of all my shipments that go through JFK, it only went to customs once. And it only sat there for a couple of days.

You must use the same tracking number as for EMS.

The same tracking number should work, since USPS is the United States' EMS shipper.

I think anything from a few hours to a few days is still within what is considered normal for going through Customs.

I do think if it were to be returned, there would be a notation on the tracking page.
