Nicostick or other diy mods?????

I was wondering if anyone has flown with a Nicostick or another diy mod in their carryon? Were there any problems getting them through security? I have an international flight coming up and will gone for 2 weeks so, I was wanting to keep some supplies with me in case the airline loses my check in bag.

I have 8 Nicosticks so, it wouldn't be a huge deal if they didn't let it through security but, I don't want to be 2 weeks in another country without a bigger battery mod either.

regular stock 510 on the plane and vaped - with permission.
no issues through security with it.

Yeah, Jim Davis travels with a Box Mod. He reports no problems.
