I've just had three batts fail thid week, two of them sticking in the on
position (cooking the atty). I think the short battery life is due to the heavy load, if you run at max spec life is short.
I've been waiting for a China post delivery, which has now arrived, of the battery in the thread below. Put the first one together and it works great.
Hopefully the larger battery will take the load longer.
I bought 4 of these for £36 inc p&p so I figure if they last 6 months I'm ahead
