OK this has probably been posted a million times before so apologies in advance. I have about 4 old tired 510 atties I got a dead 510 auto battery soldered two wires to it hooked it up to a 4aa battery pack (the ones you get with led fairy lights out of the pound shop) using ordinary rechargable aa batteries 4 * 1.2v 4.8v man do these old atties produce I tried one attie with a fresh mega.....not very good quite poor then hooked it up to this rig Bang good vapour fine hit. Lets here it for the pound shop |

Cool. I've got about 4 atties that aren't dead but not worth using. I'll give that idea a go!

Just had my first atty give up the ghost compltely. Been using two in totation since start of August, so that probably isn't too bad. But the one I have on now I think is dying very little vapour...argh... And in the middle of writting this I have just rubbed my liquid covered finger in my eye...............ouch!! |

A quick update, hooked a 401 battery connector to a 510 attie conector to make a 401 manual using 510 batteries, works quite well nice hit with some flavor, So I thought i would try it with the 4.8v supply. The attie I used came from my original intellicig kit from Febuary (old metal bridge type). Well to my supprise there's life in the old dog yet |
