Can anyone answer this for me?

Why is it that I can't post a new thread in the main forum, yet I can on this sub-forum?

I wanted to share a tip about cleaning atomisers, on the tips and tricks section, but can't start a thread!

As a newbie you have to have 15 posts before you can start a thread in the main forum. This is because spammers and autobots can sign up on the forum just to post spam. The sub boards are smaller and as such are easier to moderate, making a spam post easy to find and have deleted.

But feel free to post your tip here till you have your 15 posts in place..

    Thanks for the explanation.

Here's the tip. It involves the use of cigarette filters, af which I have LOADS from when I used to smoke roll-ups!

With my 901, I just stand the atomiser on top of a filter tip (with the bridge touching the filter) for about 15 mins. This wicks all the juice out of the bridge mesh. That way you can have nice clean atomisers for trying different juices, and also be more miserly with your juice, by squeezing it all back out of the filter tip using a syringe!

    Great tip thanks Neil...

I keep a small plastic box inside my vaping tool kit...yes, sad I know...lol

Once my filling gets a bit used looking I drop it in there and put a fresh one in. Once I have a few I put them in a syringe and sqeeze out any remaining juice.
Wash them out, place them on a piece of kitchen roll, then dry them in the oven...lol
