Default The Good Vaping Pub Guide - help needed!!

    Ay Up everyone,

Some of you may know that I am trying - in a small way - to promote vaping in pubs.

When the smoking ban came in - I stopped going out for a drink and I really missed it .

Since I started vaping, I have cautiously dipped my little pinkies into Pub life again. Most pub set ups make you feel uncomfortable getting out your PV but some make you feel - right at home.

I set up my virtual pub for those long nights in - but I think it is time to get back out there!!

I'm trying to compile The Good Vaping Pub Guide on my site and your input will be very much appreciated as I only know one!!!! lol

The Nut House! - The Virtual Vaping Pub - The Good Vaping Pub Guide

I'm not selling owt so this should not upset Smokey Joe or any trader.

    Thanks for your help

    Rusty

    Ay Up Sludge,

    Thanks for the link .

Are these GOOD Pubs?? I want it to be a good Pub first - that also allows vaping. I have vaped in a few Pubs but there is only one that I would consider a GOOD Pub

The one in my initial post certainly is. You'll have to ask mp166 & sadtranz about the others.

I've also vaped here http://www.myspace.com/12barclub ,which is a pretty cool place.

That one isn't really a pub though, is it?

It's a bar/music venue (Heck - they charge entrance fees a lot of the time.... although it's pretty easy to talk your way in without paying, or with paying only a nominal amount so long as they aren't rammed solid)

Only after 8 when they have bands on.

doesn't this purely depend on the mood of the particular person in charge or on the rota? someone might tell you to go outside just because they're not familiar with e-cigs, but when they understand more about them they will allow it. your vaping guide will then be quickly out of date?

Ay Up Sludge, Angela and fcuk,

I will add Ye Olde Monken Holt but not the other.

I'm more interested in getting the Pubs involved personally and I'm looking for Traditional Pubs - ie boozers that rely mainly on drinkers and traditional pub activities - not the ones that are now geared to a different market.

For example, The Anglers Rest in Wombwell has good real ale at a good price, pool table, darts board, board games and Sky Sports. They have a darts team and book swaps and even a 'cheese night' . The landlady Simone also provides free food on the bar including Yorkshire Puddings and gravy on a Sunday lunchtime.

The Pubs that are GOOD, Traditional Pubs will be allowed to advertise on the site - free of charge. It is all about getting spreading the word about vaping from the ground roots!!

PS - I think we are up to 8 now!!!!
