My experience at the Annapolis Mall Smoking Everywhere kiosk was pretty great. I saw folks standing around & smoking, & had a nominal buzz from a 2-Manhattan brunch, so I moseyed on over for a test run. Dude was pretty slimy, & he was up in my face when he talked, so I could smell his food court breath. That's enough to turn a few people off before they even try the product. Anyway, he let me try a light regular & 0-mg menthol, & I really dug the menthol. I'm nearly certain that he lied about the menthol, & that I was smoking a medium; I've since tried 2 types of 0-mg menthol, & they weren't nearly as dense as what I had at the kiosk. Dude also told me that the device just wicks up ambient moisture & provides flavored water vapor, didn't say anything about PG. In the end, he was pretty pushy, & I succinctly explained to him why I'd never make the impulse buy (i.e. need more research, this model might be the worst, this price might be the worst, etc.), although I thanked him profusely for the demo, which would likely serve as my intro to vaping.

I was so angry at having to pay $6.60 for a pack of Newport several weeks ago that had I run into a mall kiosk, I would have definitely made an impulse purchase.
As it turned out, I read mention of e-cigarettes in another (non e-cig) forum and decided to check it out. Wound up purchasing an Njoy NCIG that very same day, and 2 backup atomizers from Vapornine.
Been a happy vaper ever since.

Very cool. Hey Valtoor, your near me! I'm out in Pooltucky..oops I mean Poolesville. Cool. Prostreet is in Germantown, heck of a nice guy. Can't wait to hit up Eastpoint Mall and pwn Smokingeverywhere if they're there.
Sab, they're 6.60 in Bmore now?!?! Jeese, everything was cheaper in Bmore compared to Montgomery County/DC area. I wonder how much they are at my favorite gas station in Highlandtown.

Give or take a dollar, depending on where you're unlucky enough to spend your money. That was 7-11...you know they're gonna be more expensive than some other places.
Those high prices are someone else's problem now.
Keep the e-juice flowin'!

So cool to see so many of us Vaping in Virginia!
The Richmond to DC commute is so much better with a USB passthrough, and dropping my e-cig on the floor out of reach is no longer an issue. Saves my batteries for on the job.
A few people who see me vaping in public ask if "...that's one of them smoking everywhere things I see in the mall?" To which I reply, "Don't buy that overpriced junk. For what you spend there, you can have so much better. And if you actually like what they've got, you can get it so much cheaper elsewhere." Anyone who's truly interested, I send them here to ECF to learn. So they can make educated purchases. While it's true that I did spend about $40 more than I could have with other vendors, I still made out much better than with the kiosk klowns. The vendor I chose provided me with a quality product. I haven't had one moment's trouble with any of the parts. My original atomizer is still going strong after 4 months! And the original batteries still last longer than any of the spares I later bought from "cheaper" sources. Vape On!
I may still be an Addict, but at least I am no longer dying for a cigarette.

Fredericksburg, Virginia, here. Saw a story about e cigs on Ch. 4 (NBC affiliate, DC) in March and did a lot of research through this forum, which is outstanding. Purchased two DSE901s from Altsmoke and instantly went from two packs a day to about 10 analogs a day....and that's after 42 years of smoking.

Checking in from good old Chuck County MD.
I found out about the E-Cig while doing a search for ways to cut back on my analog smoking (I am tired of the hack).
Found this forum, and ordered a DSE901 from Wicked the next day. A couple of days later, my wife ordered hers as well.
After 21 years of smoking 1.5 to 2 packs a day, I am finally done. It's been over 2 weeks, and I don't even have a desire to go near an analog.
