I dont know if this has been asked before or not, I've read through a few pages...

Is there anywhere in the Raleigh/Cary area that sells E-Liquid or 510 parts?
Hello and welcome to the NC Group and to vaping, poor_red_neck! We have been trying to conduct monthly meetings in your area, so keep an eye out on this thread for future meeting announcements! I've also sent you a pm.

Hi all! I am new to vaping (started with Smoke Anywhere and got frustrated) and googled a bit and found this place! I was thrilled to find out that the device was the issue not the concept. Hubby and I are both going to transition from analogs together. Thanks to you all, we have 510s, 901s, some carts, and some nic juice on the way to us! I can't wait! I watched the newbie video and she was so right about the mailman wait being the hardest part!

We are in Concord NC (though technically closer to Charlotte than Concord proper). Anyway, glad to find you folks!

Hello and welcome PhoenixRising! Glad to hear you and your husband are going to transition together and that you've got some highly well regarded PV's coming in the mail! Sorry you didn't join us a week sooner, as we just had a terrific gathering in Charlotte last weekend! But keep your eye on this thread for upcoming gatherings!! There are several vapers in the Charlotte area if you need any help or support and you've also got a terrific juice provider in Chris of MyFreedomSmokes.com right there, as well!

Thank you for the warm welcome TnA! I saw the note about the meet and greet and hate that we missed it. We will definitely look forward to the next (and hopefully by that time we will have some decent vaping experiences to share with the group). I will go check the MFS sight now - thanks for the pointer!

Hey everybody, first time on here for me. I live in Charlotte (University area). I switched from analog to ecigs two weeks ago and love it. My hubby quit smoking years ago and is glad that I don't have to go outside for a tobacco fix anymore + the fact that I don't smell like smoke now. So far I've tried the NPRO by NJOY and the SmokeStik and prefer the NPRO. My guy is really into checking out all the different types with me and just ordered the Liberty4072 for me to take for a test vape. I'm hoping that I'll get better vapor action with the different style of atomizer and atty. I was curious about whether or not I was the only ecig user in NC. I haven't seen any others out and about. Anyhoo..nice to meet up with all of you here and hopefully in person soon!

Default We Are Doing It Again!

    Hey NC guys and gals!

We are doing it again - this time in Winston Salem. We will be meeting on Saturday, August 29, 2009, in the late afternoon to early evening.

When we get all of the details worked out - I will post again, so you can make arrangements to be there.

Of special interest is that SPIKEY will be joining us. For those of you who do not know she is the President of the Long Island Vapers Club!

    Be there or be square!

Hello and welcome, Lindy!! Like I just told PhoenixRising, you've got several vapers in your area (we're all so tough to see, aren't we??) who are some of the friendliest, bestest people around plus you've also got an awesome juice supplier in Chris of MyFreedomSmoke.com right there in your city. Keep an eye out on this thread for future gatherings...I know I'm looking forward to the next one(s)!! If you and you're hubby are willing to travel, we're about to have one Winston-Salem....would be great if you two could join us!!

Woohoo!! I've been waiting for this one!! C'mon Tobacco State vapers....take a little bit of time out of your lives to socialize w/ fellow vapers!! I can tell you that driving out of my way to attend the Charlotte gathering was more enjoyable and fun than I would have ever imagined and I'd gladly do it again (c'mon...when's the next one, there?? ).....so I'm definitely looking forward to supporting mamacat and the Winston-Salem area vapers!

Let's see, we'll have the entertainment of watching all of us adults get our behinds beat by a 9yr old bowling prodigy, we'll have the stand-up comedy of Jim420, we'll have a truly outstanding leader in the vaping community in Spikey, and we'll have beer (right mamacat...we'll have beer, right???). Oh...and for those of us who don't want to try driving home after all that fun and excitement, there is a Holiday Inn nearby....but I'll leave it to mamacat to post all that info.
