    Default Help Disassemble Vamo V2

I have a vamo v2 and i cannot get the top part to "wiggle" off. I have seen this video Vamo first impression and disassembly how to - YouTube and this guys seems to do it very easy. Has anyone else had trouble trying to get the top part off? This has been frustrating me any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

It worked for me when I tried it. I didn't have good enough protection inside the pliers and scratched it up a little. It is press fit on, so it's gotta give at some point. Just be careful, the wires are pretty short inside the head. It may have looked easy in the video, but i'm sure it wasn't the first time he actually did it on that device.

I used a pair of channel locks; they had round jaws, not the flat kind; the bigger the better.

and wrap the tube in a shop towel or something to prevent marring/scratching

    Good Luck

I'd suggest one of those cheap jar lid rubber thingies. I think that's the right word for it. Provides a little more grip than a shop towel.
