Afternoon all.... bummer of a morning.... Got about 4 inches of snow lastnight so I decided to get out there early and blow the snow off the driveway.... got about 20 feet into it and my snowblower swallowed a bolt. Stopped the engine immediately since it got lodged into the 2nd stage (Blower Part) After spending about an hour and a half trying to pry the sucker out... I have given up for the day.... Tomorrow I think I am gonna go out there with a dremel and cut the bolt head and Nut "ofcourse it had to have the nut on it too" off. I hope that gives me enough clearance to either turn the blower drive around enough to free up the bolt... or have it pry out. Sigh* now I need to figure out how to punch the cobalt through a one foot snow drift at the end of the driveway... Good thing I'm Minnesotan and this is just another day!
kittypie, she's darling! So's he! And I think Anita's right - the guy on the TV does seem to be looking at her.
Whistles, I feel your pain. My problem is I try to be the good samaritan and things go wrong. Case 1: ran over next door neighbor's hose buried under the snow, ruined hose, etc. and Case 2: ran over another neighbors power cord to Christmas lights in the parkway tree.......hey, it was February!
