Good news first. No tumors or infection. YAY!!! the other thing is the implants shifted again and my hearing and balance probably wont improve much,BUT they want to re evaluate in several months to see if I need more surgery. Im thinking of just going with a hearing aid and calling it good. Operating again would be tricky because there is already so much damage caused by the other surgeries. I would just like to get the hearing aid and be done with it. So basically its good news. Im not in any danger.

That is good news!!! I'd be inclined to stick with what you have too, keyzy, since the danger is over - as long as you feel you can cope. You have plenty of time to think about that, try a hearing aid, see how you can deal with the balance issues - and it sounds like you can change your mind later if you want to. I'm happy you're out of the woods.

Im pretty happy about everything. The audiologist said if they mess around with it more could ruin my shot at the hearing aid and I dont wan to risk that. I feel good about it right now.

I'm so sorry for your troubles snow

Big hugs, good vibes, and if there is anything I can do, let me know

I never had to watch my doggie get sick and leave me, I had to pass her on to better care and know that she's super happy and having fun, and it still brings me to tears everytime I think of her. Its not easy to let go of loved ones
