Thanks Morandir: Tried that.......but I had one doing it when I received it..they replaced it. Now the replacement is acting up--and it's only a couple of weeks old. Maybe I need to just go with regular autos and forget the bling factor.

I would love to know.....you won't have to kill me will you?

Thanks for offering.......I am disappointed in them so if I can get some more mileage out of them, I will be happy.

Kill you? No, smother with you hugs and kisses....maybe..

To fix this take a jelly jar lid or some other cleaned jar lid that has sides slightly higher the length of the battery connector so....5/16th of an inch.

The tape a string or 2 strings onto the battery so the battery connector hangs straight down in the upright position in the lid. Then pour in some IsoP Alcohol just high enough to go just a hair above the point where the battery connector and tube housing meet. Let it sit until the alcohol is dissipates, then repeat this process 2 more times.

When I did this I stacked up some books and sandwiched a clothes hanger between them to hand the battery from a string.

There are 2 small wire leads that attach to a tube on the opposite side of the battery post. Residual juice collects there, when the it build up it creates a short. So the alcohol should break down the residual juice. Crazy thing is we are talking about .3 mm in distance between the connections.

Do not use a condom, not necessarily pushing the battery, but any pulling on the battery could create vacuum which might set off the switch and completely short out the battery.

Let me know how it works...should get everything back to normal, if not I have one other trick.

Thanks Clover, I will try what Snow is suggesting. But I probably will not order any more. I will wait for the manuals also.

    Appreciate your input.

Good retorts, people. Yes, I was kidding. But I do love me some Baileys. Got rip roaring drunk one night on Baileys and Kahlua so now have to watch my intake. We were at a wiener roast and I burned the bottoms of my sandals right off and didn't even know it--sitting around the fire all drunked up--feet too close I guess. I really don't know what happened. Anyone got some good drunk stories to tell?
