I'm so glad that Loki is on the mend!

Just got word that the callie in my avatar has been bitten by something, although the bite was not identified. The vet did eliminate a snake bite. She is running a high fever and limping. At 15, all illnesses and injuries are concerns. She's on antibiotics now.

I hate being away from her.

Ms. Joyce I hope she's recovers quickly and they figure out what it is... Have they looked into the poisonous spiders in your area as a possiblity?

You know, I hadn't thought about a spider...I was more thinking a squirrel. (Sorry, Wade!) It apparently got infected pretty quickly. Fortunately, we keep her shots up to date religiously, so rabies is not one of my concerns.

This is one of the drawbacks of having an indoor/outdoor purrie.

Can't wait until the little guy is home. Just got off the phone with the vet again (we've called them a grand total of 19 times in the past 24 hours checking on him), he's eating, using the bathroom without issue, and walking more than they thought he would after surgery. Things are looking good. Thank you again everyone.
