I'm new at this, but I've found a cork screw on a pocket knife works great for getting the end off. But it wouldn't be any good for the channeling and whatnot:/

Did have my boots on tho, i only take off my boots for one thing, and it's not cartomizer refilling

Since i moved here i havnt even put up an aerial, been too busy with everything else :/ you should see the 99% of my house you cant see on videos...It's in varied states of remodel in nearly every room and hurricane dolly didnt really help things either. *sniffles*
I used to hang out primarily on the local repeater back in MO, but as i've not applied electricity to a unit since i moved here, I wouldn't even know what freq the local repeater is. Kinda crappy too, cause I miss it..but I *know* if i ever pick up a radio again before this house is finished, the house will never get finished...you're a ham, so you know exactly what i mean...those conversations for an hour before bed that turn into tomorrow morning? haha
73's to you too, May your j-pole never get bent

Two things - so glad to see that this post has been made a sticky!!! It is such a great intro to refilling cartridges, every newbie to the VK needs to see it (and a few of us who aren't so newbie anymore).
Wow - you're a ham operator, too? That is something that has always fascinated me but I have shied away from it because ... well ... forums are bad enough for being 'time eaters' ... don't think I'd have a life at all if I ever tried 'hamming'. LOL
Keep them videos coming, KC! They are great. I think you should be the official VK Guru - your answers are always to detailed and informative.
