| I grovel before the forum gods who finally bestowed upon me the coveted *sticky*. I have, conservatively, about a quarter of a million posts under my belt..in one form or another. At the dawn of time when Radio Shack came out with the TRS-80, I hauled hay for a whole year to get one. It wouldn't do anything worthwhile..but ive never been without a computer since. I was on the internet when the internet wasn't cool...When anonymous FTP and Gopher were *it* and the "internet" went to like 20 colleges around the US/world. BBS's, MUDs, Gaming sites, darn near every online game made since 1998..almost all had forums and I was and am an avid poster..and average probably 50 a day here and there, at times way more than 50...Way Way WAY(!) more than 50 when the NGE occured...maybe 10 people on this whole forum knows what *that* reference means haha. Finally, after all this time, I have a post that got the coveted "sticky". Thanks! It's been a long hard road, and I'm glad I finally got there. If I've helped one person, it's all worth while. |

Well, I can guarantee you that I am at least one person you helped with this video, KC!! And I know that many of us will be thanking you. Figured out what I was doing wrong to flood my poor carts earlier. Didn't have it tilted all the way to that 45 degree angle and was dripping too much straight down. Have filled a few more carts since and it works perfecly! God, I can't thank you enough for showing us all such a nice, simple method that WORKS!! Was dying to try out the pear and banana sample juices that Steve sent as part of my prize package so cleaned out a couple of other flavors I wasn't so keen on and filled 'em up. Wow! Love that pear!!! And the banana is good, too. Both very, very yummy flavors. Thanks to you, I was able to clean the carts, fill them up and vape them all in under 10 minutes tops. I bow down to you, oh kc0cmp ... ![]() Of course, I didn't mean that I vaped them both dry in 10 minutes! Just a couple of 'taste-tester' vapes from each of them. LOL |

I intentionally overfilled a cart several times earlier, trying to determine the best, yet least wasteful way, of clearing a "holy crap" flooded cartomizer. Won't work if you have bad joints tho ![]() If you hold on to the cartomizer, completely unplugged, and shake it really hard, like youre going to throw it at the hubby for doin something punishable by a black eye...but forgot to let go..in the direction of the battery end, you can actually sling the extra out in about two extremely hard slings...works for people like 30 and younger unless theyre in supreme health. I have bursitis...i pulled it off..but i wouldn't do it regularly. I got the idea from that damn butterscotch that I love, but is like fillin a cart with butter...its omg thick..doesnt look thick in the bottle, but when you go to fill a cart with it, jeez, you need a darn bathroom plunger to get it to go haha. | |

| Have you tried the plunger method? It works great with the thicker liquid...actually it works great with any liquid.

| that was one of several things i tried. unfortunately it fails unless the little cartomizer condom is lubricated ( presumably with juice) which i take great pains not to get all over the outside of my cartomizers. my cartomizer condoms stick on like glue and require effort (mighta noticed in the video) and pumping them up and down is an impossibility unless there's juice (or something we'll leave unnamed) all over the cartomizer allowing the little condom to slide more freely :/

Thank you KC for the vid. I got a couple of little bottles of juice and wasn't sure what I would do with them. I have been one to use up the juice in the atomizer and throw it. I have some empty carts and will try this now. You made it look very easy, hopefully it actually will be. Thanks again.

The best tool I've found so far for removing the end cap and washer is the handle from a binder clip. I use one from a medium-sized binder clip, and the wire is pre-bent into an L shape that fits in through the hole, and then you can straighten it up and the short end of the clip is just a touch shorter than the radius of the cap. This way you can pull out the cap in one tug, and because the wire is flush against the cap from the center all the way to the outer edge it never breaks or deforms the cap at all.

Great video KC, I finally had the time to watch it and saw several mistakes I have been making. You are top notch in my book! I use a hooked dental pick to remove the cap and washers. Similar to the ones pictured here. It works great, and most folks can probably pick one up for pretty cheap at their local drugstore near the toothpaste.
