Very nice video! It begs a question though: Could you not use a needle/syringe and inject through the two holes to fill, avoiding the labor (once you figure out how much 18 drops would take to fill the syringe)?

Somewhere there is a video using a syringe to fill the carto. But I think you can be more precise by looking at the inside as you're adding liquid. The short answer is that you can but it's difficult to tell how much is enough or too much.

Thanks
Thanks for this video. I have had my V4L setup for a couple days now and am loving it. I used this site to research what type to buy and decided on the V4L due to user posts here. I am presently trying different flavors and was pleasantly surprised at the extra carts that came with my order. I'm going through them and realize I will need to refill them as much as I can. This video was a godsend to me. My big problem at this point is trying all the flavors to make sure I order the refill I like the best. I have to say that Steve has been great so far and I'm very happy with the V4L product and service. I was concerned when I saw my order was shipping USPS but it came very quickly.
Again, thanks for the video.

That is precicely what's wrong with the "needle through the hole" and "blind battery end dripping" refilling of cartomizers. Once you superflood one, youre waiting many drags before it comes back to vaporville
.
It's like surgery..some things are better done when you can see what you're doing.

just remember that i used my 19-20 drops on a familliar cart of known emptiness and that i have been doin this long enough to have a feel for how much i can jam in them.
A half full cart takes less, but it's not clear..you cant see through the side and determine if the glass is "half full or half empty". consequently, you look for moistness..and i tilt them 45 degrees so that when i see moistness that goes away very slowly i know its full up..over full..on one side. once it's stood up the other side (picture a bottle tilted sideways with liquid in it) will get most of the excess if any and technically it's full *then*...i sometimes add another drop to the dry side *if* it doesnt immediately appear to have absorbed..and some of my "thicksauce" flavors require forceful shaking just to fill LOL.

Well, I just wanted to come back and say 'thank you' again, because I've shared this video with a couple of my friends, and by far, it is the most effective way I've seen to refill our 'disposable' carts.
I'll still get a cart now and then feeling a bit hot after filling with a new juice, but I think that has to do with the individual cart atomizer.....although, not sure.
Anyway, thanks again, and keep those tutorials coming. They are wonderful for newbies as well as veteran vapors.

Just wanted to say thanks to KC for the video. I refilled my first carts yesterday using his method. Everything worked out great!

Thanks for this video. Helped me to get my VG goodness into the cartomizers after removing the PG stuff.
I used a very small allen wrench to pry the cap off.

Again, thanks very much for all your kind responses, makes it all worthwhile!

Does anyone's cart get get noticiably hoter when vaping after you refill? And if so is that normal or am I doing something wrong?
