OK, a couple of small final tweaks, and we're at version 1.0. For those who haven't checked it since it first came out, it's worth a revisit - new colour option, and some tweaks on what it displays. Also, any sig created from now on will be remembered if you use the same computer to access it again in future (and have cookies enabled).

Duuuude, this is so like totally total, as the kids are saying nowadays. Thanks so much for your generosity; I'll wear the sig with pride! Andy Hmmm, no signature. Ponder ponder ponder. Ah well, it's still a real nice thing, for those who can use it. |

Well, I got the signature set up in CP, preview looks perfect, clicked "save," and the "show your signature box" is checked in the reply box, but nothin' doin'. (Even logged out and back in.) vBulletin hates me, 'cause it knows I prefer SMF. ![]() Edit: Aha! Eureka! It worketh! And thank you again! |

SMF is the only one (out of five or six php-based free ones) I ran that didn't get hacked or spammed, and I was careful about the setup on all of 'em. I think others are more subject to CSS maybe, not sure what-all went wrong. We now return you to the actual topic. |

I don't think I'm gonna be posting much more to this thread (after this post) unless people post questions/requests - so it'll probably disappear - If you want to put a link to the sig generator on your links page Steve that'd be cool - unlike all the other sig generators out there this one doesn't link to itself. Anyhows, seems to be a success. I've currently got, after what, 2 days, basically, 140 sigs generated, of which I think about 50-odd are actually being used, and over 30,000 generations of the sigs, which probably equates to close to 150,000 impressions (as the system that serves the images tells the requestors to cache them for the rest of the day) which makes me feel like it was a worthwhile enterprise. And those stats are just up to today
