Not sure how you lost it... I've heard of a couple of people unable to access the site, but actually not having it period is something new.

For those who are a little more hardcore about their Signature's and customization, I have got the next version of the sig into beta - still working on it, but the core of it is there, so if you want to try it out: Sig 2.0 beta
Any suggestions are welcome, and you can do it over this thread for others to comment/discuss, last time I asked I mostly got PMs :P

Also, I may be able to host this one on a different server when it's done, I've had an offer from someone else in this forum to help hosting to see if it makes a difference, so we'll see.
