I bought my wife one. It arrived today. She hasn't had if off since. What a great idea!

Leaford & y'all at V4L!!! I just got my lanyard today and I am sooo happy. It's beautiful and this is the first day where I haven't gone mad trying to find my e-cig. I have two herniated discs and going to be having surgery very soon. (These are my third and fourth herniated discs and I just turned 22 ). With all the drugs I am on to alleviate the pain I just can't remember where I put anything. I wish the lanyard could retroactively find the whole e-cig I lost somewhere around the house, LOL! I also like how it keeps the LED side down/cart side up. I've heard recommendations to both ways of storing the e-cig, but LED down has always worked best for me.

Leaford, I saw in your videos you have an African Grey (Mike, is it?). I also have a parrot. She's a five year old bare-eyed cockatoo and her name is Squishy. She is also a big fan of the lanyard. As soon I unpackaged it and put it around my neck she grabbed it and tried to chew on the leather string. It's going to be a struggle keeping my new toy from becoming one of her's, haha. Here's a short video of her doing a weird play behaviour that is pretty common with cockatoos. I just wanted to share because I love parrots.

Back to the lanyard, hehe. My only problem with it is that my e-cigs are the Joye 510s and they're shorter than the rest of the e-cigs the lanyard was made for. The beads got in the way of the mouthpiece, but that was an easy fix. I just pushed the beads further up the cord, they're still there but out of the way. Easy-peasy!

I also would like to let y'all at V4L that I am definitely smiling. I'm a new vapor, I quit smoking and started vaping only on Sept 30th, it's almost been a month of being smoke free. This was my first order from V4L and all I purchased was the Leaford Lanyard. I wasn't expecting anything else but the lanyard so the free bottle of 555 made me smile. It's one of my favourite flavours, you guys must have some physic powers going on! I will definitely keep V4L in mind for future purchases.

Thanks again to Leaford, everyone at V4L, and Nui!

I've been waiting to hear that they were in people's hands!

WMF, I'm glad she likes it!

jamaesi, glad you like it, and thanks for the comments about how the 510 fits. I usually keep my beads pulled out a quarter inch or so, anyway, so the cord can "flop" freely when I raise the e-cig to my mouth. I may just have Nui shorten that "neck" in future editions, to solve that. It would help with other shorter models, too.

And squishy is adorable!

Careful my friend, I'm a big guy with a neck proportional to my body, and I'm tall. The long strap is one of many features that draw me to this. I'm not sure of the closure but I'm assuming it's a sturdy knot and maybe some fabric adhesive. It shouldn't be too hard for someone to shorten and tailor the lanyard to fit him or her. It would be impossible for someone to lengthen it.

You make great vids, maybe a short video showing how to tailor a lanyard would be more cost efficient than having multiple sizes. Much like the way multiple button wholes make it universal for batteries, an instructional will make it universal for users.

Sorry, Swagg, I wasn't clear. By neck, I didn't mean the cord, I meant the part of the leather sleeve the cord is connected to. The cord is long enough for most big guys, I had a couple of friends try them. And, just in case, the next shipment will include some extra-longs. And they are adjustable.

You know, I really should have said that in the video.

So, has anyone else received theirs?

(My ego needs feeding, if it doesn't get it, it'll start eating my ID! )

I got mine yesterday as well, and love it. Very nice workmanship and makes me feel like I am back in junior high with leather and beads! I work at a school so can't wear it at work lol but I do wear it around the house and it will be great when we are out camping in our motor home.

Thanks for getting these! I surely hope that my dear friend Bornagainst has ordered his!
