How to Fix the V4L 65mm "Shortie" Battery.
Recently Vapor4Life received some 65mm batteries from a new manufacturer we were trying out. They seemed all right at first, but we soon found out that the center post doesn't spring back up the right way, which leads to a loss of contact, and no power from the charger or to the cartomizer. Fortunately ECF Fourum member Jon Solo found a quick and easy trick to put the post back in the proper position! And here is a demo!

I'm trying this out now. Thanks for the idea! I have this problem with my shorty bat to. What I did was file the cartos that didn't work down a bit on the bat side of the carto. Fixing the bat sounds better..
BTW, the birds chirping in the back had me laughing! ...I kept looking around for my wife, thinking she was whistling at me!! LOL

Leaford, thanks for posting the video. Hoping I don't need it, but I do have a shortie on order.
BTW, love your bird in the background. Every time I watch one of your videos, my little cockatiel hears your bird and starts mimicking the same sounds that your bird makes, LOL. It makes her very, very happy! Just thought I'd share.

Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened.

I love that Leaford made this video for us using a suggestion from a customer and that instead of snark, Leaford is getting love. I wish there were more of this in the world.

So is this a one time fix or will we have to do this everytime we switch out a cart or put it on the charger?

Not every time, but probably every so often, if it starts having problems, do it again.

It is a beautiful thing, isn't it?
