cleaning out a cart

ok first off I don't want to sound ungrateful but I received a coconut cart as a freebie from Steve and I cannot stand coconut! Thank you Steve though for the freebie there was obviously no way that you could know that I don't like coconut.

so here is my question how can I clean out the cart so I can use it to fill it with another juice? I need to get it totally cleaned out though cause I don't want to taste any coconut with the new flavor that I put in there.

There are a few threads on cleaning them, but here is the gist of it: take off the white cap and rubber o-ring from the mouth end. Run it under hot water for a few minutes, blowing it out a few times in the process. Once you can no longer smell the previous juice, blow it out until no more water comes out. Refill with 18-22 drops of whatever you want. Enjoy.

It's prety easy actually. Take the white cap and inner clear stopper off/out. Rinse under hot water for several seconds then blow out the water from both ends. Repeat this until you don't smell the coconut anymore. Blow out both ends until you don't get any more water out and let dry for several hours (just in case there's a little left). Then fill with whatever.

no problem I'd rather have 2 answers rather than no answers so in blowing it out I am assuming that you are talking about just putting the cart up to your mouth and blowing right? as opposed to using something like canned/compressed air?

Some flavors are pesky and difficult to banish. An overnight soak in grain alcohol (e.g. Everclear) can help with that.

Wolf just so you know and someone mentioned this already we have a cart trade place on the forum here. so lets say you start ordering carts..then find out some you like and some you dont like. go to the cart trade place and offer your carts that you dont like for trade. someone from V4L will most likely trade you for what you have and in return maybe you may take theirs. then once you find a person that has what you want and they want what you have then you send that person a private PM and make the deal and exchnage addresses then mail your unwanted carts to them and they will do same. It is great. i used it and its fantastic. I wouldnt make a trade with just 1 or 2 carts but when they add up a bit and you have say 5 or more. go to the cart trade and start posting and looking. Just a note...I don't know if this is helpful or a waste of time but:

I used Taryn's spin trick to empty a cart of juice I couldn't stomach and refill it with something I like.

I removed the mouth piece and o-ring, put a couple drops of water in the cart, put the condoms on and put it in a disposable plastic bag (in case it made a mess). I rubberbanded around the cart so it would stay batt side down and spun it until a whole bunch of juice accumulated in the bottom condom. Then I rinsed it.
