carto problems

ok I know we have been having problems lately with some of the carts. and I know that leaford is going to China to talk to the manufacture about the issues we are having. I just received an order today with 3 juices and 2 packs of carts. well BOTH packs of carts have a nice beautiful perfume taste

I figured I would create this thread for leaford to show to China the problems that we are having. please post the flavor and nic lvl and whether it is a cart or bottle and what the problem is.




1 pack of carts cinnamon 11 mg perfume
1 pack of carts lemon Meringue 11mg perfume

I think the Cinnamon didn't taste quite like they're supposed to begin with (which is why they are on sale!). I have Lemon Merangue and thought it was a little perfumey at first, but then it turned into a very nice, mellow lemon flavor. Try vaping it a little longer and see if it mellows for you. It's good! Well, mine turned out that way, hope yours does too.

I have not had any problem with perfuminess, but I did get an order of 5 different flavors yesterday and some of them are pretty dry. English Toffee, 18 mg - one cart lasted less than 1.5 hours before it started tasting burnt. I opened it up and was able to add 26 drops of juice. I then threw on Coconut Cream and it was fine - lasted almost 4 hours. The jury is still out on Chocolate and Peanut Butter Cup but I'll post back if those seem dry as well.

It's a good idea to also post the date the carts were made so they can check the batch. The date is found on the battery end of the cart engraved in the metal very close to the center where the notch is. should see a month and year. May have to use a magnifying glass. My pink lemonade was very perfumey and the date stamp was 11/2009. In fact I didn't taste any lemonade at all...just perfume. Make sure you note to Steve when you order and he will make it right. That's why his username is SMILIN, because he will keep you smilin. LOL

Leaford should get confirmation from the factory on what that date stamp means. It is quite possibly the date when the metal piece was manufactured, not the date when the cart was filled.

Looks like those numbers are stamped into the metal. I'm pretty sure that much force after the carto is assembled would crush it.

Since it looks like the base is aluminum, I'm betting the whole thing is stamped out of a thick sheet of aluminum and the numbers are imprinted then.

No perfume for me, but I got some Parliament 18mg in my last order that taste like......well, I'm not sure what they taste like. "Chemical" is about as close as I can come to a description, but that's not really it, either. The 2 I tried out of the pack lasted a good long while (didn't really time, but maybe 3 hours?). And talk about sizzling, these things sound like a leaking steam pipe!! Oh, and the date stamp is 09 2009.

And my English Toffee definitely tastes like coconut! Actually like the coconut cream pie, which I love, so I will definitely vape them.

Thank you ! I thought it was just me. I got 2 boxes of english toffee to try (11mg) and I thought they tasted like coconut with a slight touch of fruit (maybe pineapple?). They aren't bad so I wasn't going to say anything but I didn't know if this was their regular taste. If not I might try some more at a later time. I also noticed that all 3 flavors I ordered this time were really dry and aren't lasting very long. I have been dripping some other flavors I have here to get them started and keep them going. The 3 I ordered were the english toffee, cappuccino (luckily I had juice to go with these), and the mislabeled peanut butter cup ( very peanut ) all in 11mg. I was disappointed because there's usually nothing like a nice new cart, but at least I have juice to add so it's not a big deal.
