Got two short batteries today, they both worked for one charge, but now one of them won't produce any vapor. The light still comes on though. Anyone know what might have happened? Thanks.

Leaford posted a youtube video. You need a small safety pin. There are holes along the battery, where it screws into the cartomizer around the threaded area. Stick the tip of the opened safety pin into a hole, at about a 45 degree downward angle. Go under the white ring that is inside the hole. Lift the white rubber thing up with the safety pin until you can't really see the white rubber thing. *Repeat the process with the remaining two holes and it should work* FYI: you will have to do this process again after several uses, but it's quick and painless!! Sorry, I don't know how to get to Leafords video, but I think it's under short battery fix. Hope this helps!

Well, maybe after a few more batteries, another charger, maybe another PT, and I'd at least like to try the manual stuff and...

Is that a baby JRT under that hat? Looks just like mine did... Fourteen years ago...
