Three questions:
-Is there a carrying case that will hold the ENTIRE cigarette (cartomizer
and battery joined) so I don't have to unscrew it every time I put it in the case?
The XL case will hold a Shorty with Carto attached. A Leaford Lanyard, though not a case, will carry a battery and cartomizer.
-Should I be putting either the butt plug or the end cap or both on the cartomizer when not in use to keep it fresh?
I only do if I do not plan on using that carto again for a few days.
-Where does Vapor4Life get it's liquid? Is it from China

...Are their liquids the same quality as these...
E-Liquid by Halo ?
V4L Liquids are made in China. Can't answer the rest of this question as I have not tried Halo liquids yet.
Thanks

Hardware=GGSS via VaporKings : Software= TastyVapor only....I tried the rest and found the BEST!

I haven't seen _anyone_ yet that isn't getting their bulk nicotine from China. Including others referenced.
And that's probably a good thing, considering the standards there are higher than here.

Cases..well that depends on the length of the battery you're using.. I don't think there's a hard case for an assembled LX battery +carto.. there are some cases available elsewhere that will fit one VK with regular length (or shortie) battery with carto attached..some custom cases out that will fit several fully assembled too..
Liquid...it is what it is...Cartomizers are made and prefilled in China so juice is also made in China...but they have way more flavors available than Halo..though I like halo it can run kinda pricey and they're often out of stock (since they're also supplying other shops with their stuff as well)
Current PVs: Precise Plus 18650 10/7/11, Super6 3/13/10, eGo 1/23/10, 510 11/24/09, KR8 12/23/09 (shelved 1/10/10)...

According to Halo, they don't get their bulk Nicotine from China.
"Chinese smoke juice is notorious for being manufactured with Pesticide-Grade Nicotine, and industrial Propylene Glycol. These contaminated ingredients pose an increasing and unnecessary risk to e-cigarette users throughout the world.
Halo is turning the tide by offering e-liquid that uses only Pharmaceutical and United States Pharmacopeia (USP) grade ingredients. "
Regardless, the quality of the Vapor King is amazing and the Cowboy flavor got me off cigs so I'll stick with it for now.
Just wish they would make a hard case that fit the battery and cartomizer attached.....not really into carrying it on a lanyard.

On the one hand: Have you seen the V4L photos from China? Xenophobia isn't always advisable.
I'd like to see who is auditing claims made. How forthcoming are they with their independent audits?
Once the industry matures a little bit, I think we'll find a goodly number of the garage businesses in a fair bit of trouble for claims made that end up just a wee on the north side of "puffing". No accusations against any individual companies mentioned, I have no reason to - Just a personal [and cynical] nagging suspicion that is entirely personal opinion... I would call upon them to provide a statement on USP-certified lab letterhead and their sworn statement that they are using exclusively those though. Be interesting to see if they're willing.
I am not aware of a USP Monograph for e-cigarettes. I don't think USP is either.
I believe there is only one or two USP certified labs for nicotine (Alchem comes to mind most immediately).
I'd of course love to see their bonefides with lab certifications!

If anybody is worried about "tainted" Juice then you have a few options. First you can DYI you Juice. PG or VG can be purchased here in the US. Some people Soak SNU's in the PG to get some Nic content. Or you can hunt down a "reliable" Source of Flavorless Nic juice and cut your own.
There are always option you just have to do the research and be willing to do some testing and trail runs before you get it to where you like it.

I e mailed a request for a copy. Their claim: "Halo has a certificate of analysis for all of our ingredients that go into our formulas."
I agree that without regulation they could call the Nicotine organic and get away with it.

That's excellent. I'm excited to see which USP-traceable lab will supply pure nicotine to the little guy. I'd start ordering from that lab myself.

Seriously, I highly doubt that Halo or anyone else in the US can compare to the quality standards of our liquid manufacturer. It's easy to cast aspersions. We have this image in our heads of chinese sweat shops. But that just doesn't match up to the reality.
Our manufacturer is a major pharmaceutical company, and manufactures their e-liquid to the same standard. Impressive and immaculate Clean room facilities. All ingredients are pharmaceutical grade, are contained in air tight stainless steel vats, and pumped from mixing tank to mixing tank through air tight piping. And bottle and cartomizers are filled in separate rooms, by workers wearing hairnets, masks, and gloves, who have monthly health checks.
OTOH, there is NO regulation in the US, and no one manufacturing here has the kind of facilities that our manufacturer has. Ask Halo or anyone else for pics of their facilities, and (IF they are willing to show you their conditions, which I doubt they will) compare them to these: Leaford – An E-Smoker Forever! -|- Leaford’s reviews, E-Cigs, E-cigarettes, electronic cigarettes, e-pipes Blog Archive A trip to Vapor4Life’s liquid manufacturer.
