oly, we try to celebrate when someone has been a member of ECF for one Year they get Veteran Status.. we call it Turning .. it shows above their avatar in Red. They get to pick a theme that they like and we all change our avies for the day to what they like as a show of repect... It is a lot of fun, but can also be time consuming... some only change their avie for people they know, and others do it for every single turn!! I am kinda in the middle ...I do as many of them as I can... but don't always have the time to do everyone.

Good Morning ! Thought I'd pop in & say Hello before it's time for chores and stuff.
Pokey, That morning cup is OK. I don't usually like pictures with cats in them, but since he's a sniper and all, kind of sparks it up. I have a really evil cat, and she's my 2nd really evil cat, so I really hate pictures of sweet, fuzzy kitties, because they're all lies!!

TT, and anyone else who doesn't know who my avatar is...It's the replicant Rachael from my favorite movie "Blade Runner". Since she's an android, I figured she'd be best suited to an e-cigarette!

Have a Great Day toto, SC, Pokey, Sdh, Tcg, oly, padre, salem & anyone else who I may have forgotten!! wub ya!

Thats so true. I used to wake up after "sleeping" for 10-12 hours with my eyes beet red and more exhausted than I was when I went to bed. I suffered like that for many years before being diagnosed.
I will never forget the first week wearing a cpap my brain was crinkling. Sounds weird but it was like static clearing in my head as I was actually getting deep restorative sleep for the first time in years.

Nowadays I think that many people are burning the candle at both ends and just not getting enough sleep. If you have a SO (that you sleep with lol) they will normally be able to tell you if you have it because the pauses in breathing are obvious. The thing about not being diagnosed is that it will put a strain on your hearts and over the years can become quite serious. Not to mention that if you happen to not wake up enough to start breathing again it can be disasterous too

One of the questions they asked me was if I go to sleep when I'm talking to people and I wanted to put in there "Only my brother-in-law" because he's one of those people who tells stories in such minute detail and at such great length that I have found my head to be jerking around when he goes into one of his long, windy tales. Kinda like when my wife lectures me. And she loves and lives to lecture me.

But if the CPAP will give me more energy and less breathlessness, then I'm all for it.

    TT
LOL @ TT I never ever fell asleep at stop lights or while talking either. I think that is more in line with narcolepsy and thats why they asked you that Just trust me that you will feel much, much better. After all have I steered you wrong yet?

OK I will finish catching up later I have too much to do today but will bbl

LOL, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't enjoy it TT. It is a tube down into your trachea, which is attached to a ventilator (breathing machine). Not very comfortable at all!

Ya see, it's like this TT. Some of us ole people don't see so well or what we think we see isn't really what we see! As I was raising my cup to take a sip, I saw a gun--threw my hands in the air, dropping my coffee cup--then thought, "what the F..., that was a cat with a gun....cats can't shoot guns!!!!!!
