My job has been really annoying lately. Not much actual work to do, but a bunch of training for things I'll never use.
At least I have a job though. Well, actually I'm self-employed...so I don't get paid for going to useless training. But it keeps
me off the streets!
Well I made sauce from the Roma tomato's from the garden. The weather people are predicting a possible frost tonight/tomorrow. I cannot believe it. It is still technically summer! I suppose that is what happens in the frozen tundra of WI.
Too many choices....not enough time/money!
I always thought about starting a e-bay useless shop. Go around and scavenger items for resale. Antiques and collectables. However, I would end up buying things on my scavenger hunts that I would not sell. I went to a auction 3 years ago and bought a sofa size oil painting that was worth $$$ for chump change.

So, can you gardeners tell me something?
I went out to my failed garden that I gave up last year, and found a bunch of little red potatoes - They must be
from the ones I planted a year ago spring...
Are they safe to eat? How do you know if they're not?
My hubs sells on ebay. I tried for awhile to sell vintage dishes, needlework etc... and you CAN make a profit, but it is a pain. Just trying to figure out the shipping, and then having to deal with dishonest buyers trying to rip you off...I hated every minute of it. I still have many items in storage that I should list...but...ugg.
If they don't have any green spots-they are good to eat!

Techno-I think that is why I don't get into it! It seems like a all day work adventure.

I will have to get back out to the garden tomorrow and dig around to see if there are more potatoes. I'm not a very good farmer, and I'm scared to eat something that might be bad...
We have such clay based dirt that it's very hard to grow anything without alot of soil conditioning. Then it rains & rains until it's all just a mud lake...
Flowers like pansy & petuna do much better!
Well tech, if they are red potatoes and you are sure they have not been there since last year! LOL then I would say they should be good to eat.... cut one open and see if it looks and smells as it should...would be my best advise....
