Happy to be Smoke-Free since 7/18/10
Too many choices....not enough time/money!
Well guys I will head out as well. Goodnight all!
Too many choices....not enough time/money!
Yes, I work full time. I work nights and evenings. And 6 weeks of weekends in a row followed by 6 weeks of weekends off. My schedule is so varied that my husband never knows when I'm working without looking at my calendar, LOL. It is interesting work. And I only take care of one patient at a time. That is a real benefit. I wouldn't like having to take care of as many patients as you do. Just doesn't seem safe.

TG it is not safe. I worked for agency before and traveled around Milwaukee and surrounding areas. Its sad but I have to chart defensively due to my insecure feelings of the facility.
Goodnight TG I am falling asleep at the keyboard!
TG that would be a hard schedule to get use to.![]()

Sorry still not on your schedule yet Pokey. Went to see daughter's play. It was a huge night for the Kids. The playwright was in town and met the group today and watched the show. Something that just doesn't happen and kids were psyched and just knocked it out of the park?.... theater. She also was judged a member of the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival. Last year she and her partner were the first Freshmen to make it to the western US regionals in 6 years. (Proud Papa, I know)
Going ta miss tonight too. Headed to Monterey to see Furthur (the Dead) Whoo Hoo !!!
Congrats Wharf Rat, that is cool.
SD & TG my wife did NICU at Johns Hopkins, she still tears up when she thinks about babies she took care of and that was a long time ago. she did some floor nursing and office work but ended up as an IV therapist. She loved that and was really good at it. Then medical issues made it so she couldn't do it anymore. It took a lot out of her to leave the job she loved to do. Nurses are way undervalued in this country and way overworked.
Brain fried -- core dumped -- please restart
In honor of Padre's Special Day , we are serving coffee via Keurig
In our special soccer coffee cups
I realize for us java junkies this single serve business is a bit of an inconvenience, but queue up and get over it. If I can you can -- after all, it's Pad's day, not ours!
Happy Turning Day, Pad!
Woot!
