    Default New Turbo's

Hi Ben. Just got my order of new turbo's and I did not think that the older soft caps were bad, I actually thought that they were the best that I have tried. The new ones are improved. Smoother draw, the cap is a little different and they seem to hold a bit more liquid. I like these alot!!

p.s.. Thanks for the replacement usb passthrough. This one works fine.

    Tommy

are these new and improved cartomizers the same as vapor4life's cool cartos or are they slightly tweaked? If they are I want to try them!

If anyone knows let me know!

Kimmy, IMHO, the Turbos are the best kr808 cartomizers ever manufactured, period, and I've tried a LOT of different kinds. The draw is perfect, the design is great, the longevity and capacity are unmatched. And if kept moist (but not overfilled) at all times, they are very unlikely to burn. They get funky and hard to draw after many refills, and that's when I just discard them. Some people wash them, I don't, normally. They are disposable, after all, and I really enjoy the taste of a freshly filled new Turbo.

Here's a review from another experienced carto user I just happened upon in a different thread (I don't include the reviewer's name because I don't have the permission to do so):

"doh!....speaking of Ben...I'm using one of the new Turbos now....great new cap design! Easily held 20 drops and still has a nice light but not airy draw. (KR808D-1)"

Can anyone tell me what the resistance is on the new turbos? I may want to try these... they sound good.

3.1-3.3 Ω. I've seen several reports, but this is the range. They are good.

    Wow that's awesome.

You've tried their cool cartos? You said you tried a lot of different kinds, but didn't specify. Because people told me they are the exact same thing from the same place....so I want to make sure I'm not ordering something I already have. I'm not really a fan of vapor4life's cool cartos just because they don't give the greatest throat hit, i prefer a harder warmer hit.

I'm on a mission for the perfect carto...I've tried Ben's older turbos and I ended up giving them away. Are these new ones wrapped again? Because I had to air those out to get rid of the odd vitamin taste.

Thanks for any help you can give me I really appreciate it!!!

Thanks katya. It sounds like they will work well for me at 5V.

Kimmy, as much as it pains me to say that, there's no such thing as a perfect cartomizer, yet. But some are much better than others. If you don't believe me, visit us here:

    Burning Cartomisers? Dangerous?-E9/VK/bloog/totem/808/DPV9/Smoke51...etc

This thread has been alive and kicking for over a year and we've tried, vaped, abused and autopsied every cartomizer known to man (and woman).

Since this is VaporNine subforum, I will not go into details about other vendors' products, but I've tried them all, or almost all, including V4L classic, hardcap, softcap, and cool; and Megas; Gold Label; standard and non-standard Kanger kr808s; 510s; 4081s; and E9s.

I can only speak about my own experience with the Turbos and it has been very good. I was lucky. But there is always a possibility of QC problems and no vendor is immune to this. Ben had his share. Here's what I do: I wait for some early reviews and based on those, I order a couple boxes and try for myself. Ben kindly offers a first class shipping option, so the shipping cost is not an issue (unless you live in the Netherlands or Australia ). And I never stockpile, ever. Things change all the time, new and improved versions come to the market all the time, my own preferences change. Why bother and get stuck with 200 cartos you may not care for in the long run?

I know the odd vitamin C taste (and smell). I got it not from the Turbos but from a blisterpack of 510 cartos from another vendor. Nasty!

Good luck, Kimmy. And if you decide to get some, let us know how you like them, will you?

Thanks so much girl! I think I'm going to order 2 packs tomorrow. Will let you know.

I know I'm probably not going to be able to experience a perfect cartomizer any time soon, but I want something good! hahaha. I'm up in the air about my favorite, it's truely frustrating.

    Thanks you for your help!
