    Default Regulator ?

OK I have made a couple bare bones 18650 wood mods and would like to regulate them. Will this do it by itself, or will need a Pot along with this? NCP630A 3 Amp Adjustable Regulator from madvapes

You'll need a resistor and pot. Madvapes has the parts listed on their variable voltage kit page.

So the VV kit is basically the same as a LM2596 board? I'm looking for the cheapest and easiest way to Get a bare bones 18650 mod regulated to a certain voltage and leave it at that setting?

The LM2596 is a board that comes assembled with pot and board all that's needed is to wire it in to the mod. The NCP630A is the regulator Madvapes uses for their VV and kit but doesn't come assembled with pot and board. The LM would be an easier build both would be about the same price in the end.

Thats kinda what I figured, lol. Wish it could be a little smaller in width. Now one more question for ya, lol. If I want to add a LED meter how hard would it be to add one to this lm2596? Don't need atty's metered, just volts!

No problem as long as you've got the room, just wire the meter in line with the output. You'll need a resistor for the LED but if you buy the LED at Madvapes they include a resistor.
