Nice work, Scott.

Did you refill any of the cartomizers? Do you think these are the same cartomizers used by the Nebula/Vapor King models?

hi mate,

ive not actually refilled one yet but i did take one apart to see if it could be done............and it can!

using a pin, i popped the end cap off. underneath that is a rubber cap/bung which lifts out. once that is done you get to see the unusual atomiser set up.

there is no steel mesh or heating coil as such. instead its a straight metal pole that runs thru the centre of the cart. wrapped around the pole is the polyester wool.

so, if using a syringe i think it would be very easy to refill

ive not used the other models that you mentioned so im not sure about that.

cheers,

scott

ps......woohoo, just noticed this is my 1000th post

it looks very different to me , the DA-90 looks to have a male connector on the cartomizer and a female connector on the battery. With the VK/Nebula it's just the opposite of that

I have one of these. Yes, you can refill them, but the batting is actually a "test paper". The more you fill it, the more absorbent it becomes, and in the end, it will just clog. I have tried boiling them, but getting all the water out is not going to be easy, and when boiling them, the paper on the outside came loose, and it makes me wonder if any of the glue came off and seeped into the filler. I have tried taking the filler out and replacing with paper towel, coffee filter, and tea bags. None of them work very well because you cannot get them wrapped in a cylindrical shape around the atty. The lead wire gets in the way. Going to try some of the cart filler from my DSE901 in there to see if that will work. They do produce a decent amount of vapor when new, but again, the more you fill em, the more they just absorb....

It's male on the connector, as Grimm said, here's a pic from the vendor's site:

Another one claiming 200 hits per cart, and 300 per battery.

Good review, Scott, thanks. heir site seems like green = mint, and yellowish = tobacco...any other flavors?

It sure had me thinking 'this is "vapor King v2", possibly, and maybe with the description of it broken apart, perhaps it is. Anyone have a pic of the insides? :-)

Anyone seen 'em in the US?

Another good review, Scott. Good job with being transparent with the fact of receiving it at no cost.

I think it's important for people to understand that when we receive product at no-charge it doesn't effect the review scores we give and you're doing a good job of that.

I've started into the realm of hardware reviews now, too...I'll be doing those as well as all of the liquids I still have to do...PM me with any input you may have, bro.

cheers mate!

with regards to being transparent, i implemented the disclaimers over 2 months ago now to ensure people new what the score was.

reviews on "freebie" e-cigs get a verbal disclaimer

reviews involving discount codes get a written statement at the start of the vid.

reviews on "freebies" that also involve a discount code get the written statement PLUS a verbal disclaimer.

reviews on products that i purchased get bugger all! lol (unless they have a discount code attatched!)

example:-

cant be much more open than that!

cheers,

scott

Yes, sir. I started makign disclaimers a while back, too. Until tonight, all I ever did was mention that the product was sent to me for free but I will start adding in the bit about how that won't effect the scoring.

Like I said, I think that it's important for people to know that.
