Here is my review for the m201 Pen Style e-cig from litecigusa.com. m201 review from litecigusa.com Pit-Tube - Get drunk and video yourself I put it on Pit Tube because I went a minute over the allowed time for youtube, but I am trying to put it up there as well right now. I give it an 8 straight accross the board, even tho I gave the battery a 7 because of it's sensitivity. The atomizer on the m201 is 2 1/2 time the size of a DSE801 pen. This has great vapor and a throat hit the will knock you on your butt. I actualy had to cut my Hilton 24 juice half and half with VG and it's STILL too strong for my personal liking. All in all a GREAT device. If you like pens, this is one you NEED for your collection. I would have rated it higher than an 8 but after vaping for 2 days my throat is sore from the hit. As soon as I get the juice strength dialed down to something comfortable for my vaping I will re-review it. This thing is seriously the hardest throat hit I personaly have experienced. When I get it dialed in, I'm putting away my cigars and using this as my primary (until I get my pipe). Enjoy and discuss. |

Thanks for the review. The charger is standard fare for M401 from the looks of it. I like the 'combo USB or wall wart' chargers, but do wish they'd use the push in vs screw in, like the KRs. Showing the atty on a non exposed atomizer is tough, might try to shine a light from the camera side into the atty. Is the draw the same, harder or lighter than the J118? Throat hit comparison with same liquid as the Jx118? (I'd guess the m201 is better throat hit, but..?) Compariing it more directly (throat hit, vapor, etc) to the 801 but *not* the J118 basically makes this read a bit like a paid commercial for litecigusa, IMHO. I have zero issues with them, and indeed, went to order my J118 from them (OOS at the time with PCC), but...hopefully you can see why I'm saying that, and we'll see a more direct J118/VX2 vs M201 comparison in the future. on sitting on the VX2...I've *so* far escaped that, however, I had a bad atty from an order (DOA), tried to run it throug hthe clean/drain cycle with some others, and *lost* the bad atty that was set to be returned if I couldn't revive it.. ![]() Interesting comment on the atty size/e-cigar, now I'd really like to see the atty ![]() Note that if you say it's the same battery as the J118, the 510 atomizers will fit on those batteries as well, but *not* vice versa (at least, not without mods/sanding/filing) I had the same 'sensitive' experience on the J118 batteries as you showed in the vide. I'd be very curious to see the same set of batteries, with 510, J118, and m201 attys, with the same juice, for a true direct comparison of the 3. Any chance you'll be picking up any 510 attys? The comment you made on 'denser vapor' is interesting, and my J118 produces nowhere near the 'feel' of my 510s, but it's possible I somehow have 3 different 'bad' J118 attys...does the vapor given the same quantity, 'feel' any different from the J118? (Assuming it does, by your comments on the mg dosage, etc, but..?) Again, thanks for the review!

The reason I compared it to an 801 is the same reason I compared the VX2 to the 901. It's the cosmetic look that it's going to be compared to. I suppose I could do a comparison between the 2, but you would have to take in consideration that it would be a pen VS a mini. I didn't say it's the same battery as the VX2, it's the same TYPE of battery. Same type of switch and even more sensitive. Unlike the VX2, but just like the 801 it's a male end battery. The throat hit blows the VX2 out of the water. The VX2 is a very nice throat hit. Enjoyable. The throat hit from this beast is flooring. I'm still diluting my 24 juice to try to tone it down a bit. By my estimations I have diluted the 24 down to around an 8 now and it's tolerable (will probably be great but hard to tell right now with this sore throat). I forgot to mention it in the review, but the draw is probably the closest I've experience to an real analog. It's not super lite like the VX2 and not difficult like my tight battery on one of my 801s. As for the "denser vapor", it's hard to explain. It gets about the same vapor, a bit better than an 801, but it feels "heavier" and looks fuller even tho it's about the same in volume. Does that make any sense? When inhaling it almost feels like a solid or liquid instead of a gas. Almost like a Lucky Strike no filter VS a Marlboro light. It's that kind of difference. The charger is one of the things that I really like. You are right tho, a push in would have rocked. I get nervous about screwing my batteries into chargers ever since I broke the wires on 3 901 batteries when the glue holding the fitting gave way. I like it. The atomizer surprized the hell out of my when I looked at it. I couldn't believe how big it is. I would LOVE to see a mod made with this one. Think about it, a mod with an atomizer the size of a 701! I don't know if it could be handled. I don't mean to come off as a comercial for litecigusa, but it just happens to be where I'm getting my stuff from right now. Even tho I rave about the devices, I got no problems showing what I don't like. Right now the 2 major things I don't like about the m201 is the battery and how sensitive it is. It lasts a decent amount of time but if i hold it within 2 feet of my ac unit here at home it switches on. The other is my sore throat. I seriously suggest if anyone gets on of these and you vape an 11mg or higher, dilute your juice. I vape 36 in my e-cigars (because I mostly smoke them like real cigars), and 24 in all of my other devices. My first puff on this with 24 on the cart had me coughing like the first time I had a full inhale from an analog. I immediately cut it in half and it's STILL too strong of a throat hit for my personal comfort level. As soon as I get this dialed in to what strength juice I can tolerate through it, it's going to be one of my favorites. Tomorrow I'm getting my DSE601 Pipe from another dealer and will review that as well. |

You know someone's gonna have to prove that statement wrong now, right? Be cool to see, though.Quote:

Do the 801 batteries work with the 201? I was just looking at one of my 801 atomizers and the bridge in it is twice the size of the other. I wonder if I didn't get a 201 instead or if that is the answer to the sensitive battery issue.

OK, I had to try it... yes, the battery for an 801 does fit the m201, however I didn't take a draw on it like that. I just put it together to see if it fit... and it does.... Soooo...... I'm guessing it would fit an 801 mod instantly as well.... now, who is going to be the 1st to try it? |

OK, just got done counting. I got 26 drags from 1 cart, and when I went to top it off it took 14 drops. As I mentioned, it's a bit of a juice hog, but man... the vapor is wild.

"All parts and cartridges are compatible with Almost any other Original Classic ECigarette Kit pen models" So it looks like you have a fix for the sensitive battery issue and 801 mods have a possible super charge option. BTW I didn't notice if you compared battery life between the 201 and the 801? Any difference? | |
