I was suckered in to this post being a review of the JS. Whether it was good or bad, I figure I'm qualified to respond since I, you know, actually use one.

But you know best. The other mods you mention are all very nice power sources and nice looking devices and all use larger batteries. I like the 801 atty in a side to side with the battery and I like cartomizers.

So tell me, what does that say? No really, I wanna know.

LOL

You really think you'll bait me into some pathetic e-fight with just that?

I'm not gonna argue, enjoy your rants.

But not ALL the devices I listed are larger. The Protege is actually smaller (although shaped differently).

And yes, I have owned a JS, so I am confident that I can comment... it was a POS. A stand-alone POS, but even more of a POS when compared to better quality devices.

And LOL at the know it all comment... dude, that's SOOOO not my stance. Ever. I sit back and listen to those who know more and I learn more each day. Perhaps you should do the same.

Whatever...TGWTF has taught me so much about vaping and I thank him for the information and motivation that he has given me to quit and STAY off of analogs.

Thanks MOOB!

moobyghost, your second Video was very good. One thing I wish all video-makers would do is blow the vapor to the side, not toward the camera, because you really can't see how much vapor there is when it's coming straight toward you. Also, when you said you'd get the adapter for the 510 I wanted to know why. Do you believe it gives better vapor, or flavor? I'm curious.

This has been an interesting thread to say the least. I'm finding out men do have feelings after all. All of you in fact. That's a good thing.

A book I've recommended lots of times to certain friends over the last 30 years is Happiness is a Choice, by Frank Minirth and Paul Meier. Everybody that lives long enough is going to find times when life is unbearable. It's helpful to be able to understand it all.

So thanks for that good Video. I'm one of those that loves the Janty Stick, probably because it's just the right size and has a great little holster, and it's been so consistent in vapor, which I like. So, anyhoo...just carry on!

LOL... for real... came in thinking "VVTF is a janty stick, hmm better check it out" and it turns into Dr. Phil...

If MoobyGhost is getting donations because he has fans, who effing cares? If he's making money without committing fraud, more power to him. Dunno why that's such a terrible thing...

On a side note, it's hard for me to imagine any seriously depressed person going online and talking about it... spend a few hours in a high-risk psychiatric ward and you'll get what I'm saying. Most of the time you can barely get them to eat or go outdoors. But hope you get better MoobyGhost; depression is a terrible thing, but it can be beaten

Oh, I have done a stint in a mental ward and never want to go back. I had to go in front of 7 people just to see if I could leave there. I am just a open and honest person who hides nothing.

Look, I took offense to the way you wrote my opinion off. And on the internets, just like real life I'm not gonna sit by and have my opinion be belittled.

I am not about fighting. I couldn't care less what you think of the JS, I own one and I love it. I wanna know in all seriousness what volumes are spoken by my preferred devices: 801s and cartomizer models. 510s for me are third and 901s and 401s are in there as well. I know this is a 510 board but come on, what cart user wants to fiddle with those carts all day? Not me.

P.S. - I listen to everybody and learn some all the time. These things are about what works for the individual. Nobody is helped by members constantly telling newbs to toss what they have and get a 510.

P.S.S. - The photos you took of the Protege are breathtaking, and if I find that they can be easily modded (not with an adapter) to take cartos' I'd get one (well, order one) immediately.

I think you took offense believing I was saying something that I wasn't.

I said that if the 808 was thought of as good as the Janty, it speaks volumes about the Janty.

Meaning... it should be FAR BETTER than a standard e-cig. You are paying $80 (plus) with the expectation that you'll get these benefits over an e-cig:

Batt life
Vapor production
Flavor
Throat hit

And if the JS isn't exceeding an 808 by a wide margin, then it is not fulfilling its promise to deliver better performance.

So you see, it was not an insult to you or the 808.... I believe you saw it like that though, and I had no idea why.

Ok 2 things:

1) Yeah I agree - it was not Mooby at his best, but he was also decent enough to admit he had done a few things not in character of his usual reviews, so he redid the review.

2) I am so sick of hearing about this 'begging' crap. Every one of you that is whining about Moob 'beeeeeging' for donations is so full of crap you're just pissed off you haven't figured out some way to actually do just that - whereas Moob is obviously using the funds for exactly what he said he would... purchasing items to review that people requested.

On an end note, I've also never noticed him ever state that his reviews were anything other than opinion. Sure people have grown to respect that opinion, but then again if you don't like that opinion, just friggin' say so. Why bash on someone when it is obvious they are generally an amiable person willing to take criticism and act on it?

Relax a little and take care all,
- Hap
