Wow, Mooby, I don't consider that one of your best reviews. Hope the remake is better.

All he said is that he needed them because "I am working on a secret project, to be revealed later this week".

I'm trembling in anticipation.

Whether bitc...butch likes it or not, I do have fans and they do ask me to review mods I can not afford. So I held a internetethon where I broadcasted live for 7 hours and entertained people as well as gave out pv and mod information. People donated of their own free will and now I will be able to review the items they want me to review.

The protege is one of them and I will be giving that away in a contest shortly after the review.

140+ fans later and 65,000 views this is the first review I have gotten complaints on, and deservedly so. I already admitted it was not good and that I was in the wrong head space last night to do it. So I will do another one today with out the boxmod in the video.

Not to mention the fact the internetethon netted $80 bucks for charity.

And you close to $500. Altruism in its purest form. Whatta guy!

Mooby instead of giving away all the PVs why not trade them for others??? People donate money then you just give it away?

Give it back to the people who donated. The only people who are going to enter the contest are people who are fans.

The JS has had its time, there's many better devices out there now for the same or even less money. This video reinforces that view. You'd be mad to buy one now but when it was released there weren't many alternatives. It's basically a pretty Nikostick and anyone who can solder should consider making one of those first. The Apple comment was very appropriate.

I'm sure the next review will be a better representation of the JS. Doesn't really matter to me since I have no interest in buying one. I just like to check out mooby's reviews from time to time. They're entertaining, and generally informative. Keep doing what you're doing Moob!

What I want to know, is where to get plans for that box mod with a built in charger/passthrough.

Mooby,

I must say that this is probably your worst review. I am a fan of yours, and do value your opinion, you shouldn't be comparing another device to the Janty stick in your review. It is a review, and not a comparison. Focus on one device only.

It isn't fair to compare an 801 atomizer to a 510 atomizer, or to any other atomizer. Is it fair for me to compare a Neon to a F150?

Also, Janty is pronounced with a hard j. Not a y. Janty is also another word for jaunty, which means sharp.

One other thing that I felt was wrong is that that if you are going to give one device away in a contest, why not all of them? I have no problem with personal gain from reviews, but as long as it is from a supplier rather than from donations. Have your Chuck made with the TGWTF logo, and give it away back to your fans, as well as the Janty Stick. Also, ask to borrow the things that you asked for on your blog, rather than asking for a donation.

As for the Chuck, there is no "stock" battery. It is compatible with the 18650 and 2 RCR123A batteries, which require no adapter. There is no default battery for the Chuck as someone implied earlier in the thread. Using either battery is simply a matter of personal preference.

I hope that your re-review expresses the same feelings that you had in this review, and is completely dedicated to the Janty Stick.

Also guys, lets keep the flame war down.............
