I got my 801 adapter for the Prodigy the other day, and thought I'd share a few first thoughts. |

Flitz.....Great review my friend!! I did expect to see you in costume so I was shocked! I have all three adapters for the prodigy myself, but generally stick with the 801.Very surprised on the vapor production(could be the juice?),Mine kicks up a cloud of vapor every time.Again great vid!! The Wiz!

Nice comprehensive review Flitzanu I am a mainly 901 user and agree on your thoughts, but the 801 does get better after a day or too breaking in, but is still a very light draw device. It is the only device that really suits 6v imo though because of the very nature of the light draw? |

see, Mufftrix, you bring up a good point. after my experience with the 801 at 5v, i'm now very curious to try it at 6v to see if it bumps it up. seems like it would be perfect for that, at least what i can anticipate it to be. 5v does what i'd wished 3.7v does with a 901, so i hope 6v does to an 801 what 5v does for 901. if that makes sense. ![]() now i need a 6v device to try! |

we yanks are never satisfied with what we have!i still blissfully remember my very first puff at 5v on the Prodigy at 5v and OMG...it was heaven. those are moments that just can't be recreated. i'm hoping if/when i try 6v it feels as awesome. haha. | |

Hi, Flitz, I have tried the following with a Prodigy: 3.7 to 4.2 without a resistor (starts out hot and moderates), 3.7 to 4.2 with a resistor (my favorite, I think- always cool), 5 with the resistor (can't hotbox it), and 6 without the resistor (SHORT bursts only and hot!). All of this has been with 801s since they are all I've ever used. What I like about 3.7 to 4.2 with the resistor is that one can vape all day. It doesn't get the atty hot. Using an 18650, it's like having a fully charged 801 battery for a day and a half. 5 volts with the resistor can't be hotboxed. It's still puff, puff, set it down because the atty is getting hot. I think the vape will improve for you once the atty gets a little better broken in. The 801s seem to take a day or so before they work the best. |
