his email is john@intellicig.com

Intellicig had a previous model up for sale before the EVO. expipeman bought one of them I think before he got his EVO.

yes badseed, he did have a model before the EVO which was just called "intellicig". its a completely different model to the EVO, i know because it was the 1st e-cig that i ever purchased.

The EVOlution is a completely new e-cig altogether from intellicig. kinda like Ford bringing out a new model car.

this video review is for the "intellicig EVOlution" and not for the old "intellicig" !!

again though, i find it strange as to why these 2 guys have not contacted john before joining a forum and mentioning it. if i buy a product which i think is faulty or has parts missing then i would be on the phone or writing a email straight away!!

i also find it slightly strange that in my review the 2 things i mention are the best features are the vapour production and battery life. now 2 guys join the forum for the first time to say that it doesnt produce good vapour and battery life is poor!

to the 2 new guys who are having problems. if you are genuine users then i apologise sincerely if it sounds like im accusing you of something. please just contact john

I have contacted him about the missing spare battery and it's on it's way to me.

I wasn't sure with only one battery whether the one I had was faulty or not as I had nothing to compare it to.
Hence why I asked here if the behaviour was normal...before troubling the seller....just in case it was a common problem caused by user error etc. i.e needing an initial overnight charge or whatever.

Sorry to have bothered you.

mate, its not a problem what so ever. we are always happy to help people with any question they may have.

i apologise if i made you feel that you wasnt welcome or if i gave the impression that i thought you was not genuine. i hope you stick around on here and learn tons of good info on e-cigs.

for me, if there is a problem with a product i purchased i would always contact the seller straight away.it was wrong of me to assume that everyone thinks the same way as myself.

very glad to here that you contacted john and have a new battery on the way. i get at least 8 hours out of a fully charged battery so im sure you will too. when charging, ignore the green light. always charge for at least 2 hours regardless of whether the green light is on or off. plus on the 1st ever charge of a new battery, charge for 8 hours before 1st use.

You just can't let it go can you?

Don't worry, I shall return to lurking...it was obviously a mistake to post here.

I looked at the site and it's the cost in a different currency. So for a full starter kit, tax, & S&H, what is it in US dollars?

What makes this one better than the others that say pretty much the same but distributed by different suppliers? If I know the US amount is much lower than others, then it's worth trying. I've read enough on warranty info but sending it in and waiting for the replacement concerns me. What do I do for smokes till it arrives? I already have one, but if I didn't ... The distance and what could go wrong in shipping concerns me too.

My pen style cost a pretty penny but the battery lasts all day and I get 2+ days per cartridge.

Thank you for any info you can send my way.

Thank you.

john at intellicig is currently setting up a US distributer. the difference is that the EVO is not made in china like all the others. its made and assembled in the UK and electrical parts of the atomiser and battery have been re designed. at the moment, john at intellicig.com is the ONLY supplier of the EVO because it is his own product.

the other e cigs by different suppliers may look the same but how many of them have a whopping 8 - 12 hours battery life?

i think the US site will be up and running in a week or 2 so maybe it might be worth checking it out then.

PeteMcArthur: If you didn't get the charger, how can you say it thinks it's charged after one hour? I am curious. It sounds contradictory.
