[ There are some people on the forums that can NEVER get an atty to last more than a week or two. There are others that swear they've been using the same atty for months now.[/quote] Well I am hoping to get more use out of my 510 then just a month before I must replace parts sounds like I should order spare parts now rather than later! Is there a PV out there that will last 6month - 1 year and is decent? |

You should get long life out of most 510 attys... they do decline though. I haven't lost one yet (I have some that are over 4 months old easily and I vape constantly). Clean them out every once in a while (or when you change flavors). I use EverClear alcohol to soak them 24 hours, blow out and let dry (no water, no rinsing... it evaporates off fast, and I flick my wrist with them like a thermometer to get the alcohol out and dry). Reprime the atty well with e-liquid (about 4 drops for a 510) and let soak in... refill the cart and take a few soft hits to move the liquid down the bridge into the pot and put more drops on the atty if it seems to need it. If your atty is dry vaped and scorched, the everclear will clean the nasty taste out of it too (a common mistake for a new vaping person... especially with a 510). Fry's food stores has it, on the bottom shelf near the Vodka I think. Plenty of e-liquid is the KEY to long atty life. Vape them dry and they won't work well taste like a burned shoe and die a dry nasty death, lol. Get plenty of atomizers!! Really you should have 5 to 10 sitting around in wait. I have uhhh *a few* more than that sitting around. Not taking chances on the FDA dorks putting the kabosh on my vaping!!

How many posts or how much time has to pass before I can start a new thread? I didn't see it in the FAQ.. I actually had a question about the differences between the 510, the 801 and the 901 models. I've been reading the reviews, but its a bit difficult to put some side-by-side comparisons together. So, if anyone has used any combo of these 3, or know what the differences are... ![]() Thanks in advance, David |

Hey David welcome to the forum. I don't remember how many it takes to post a new thread anywhere you want but I think it was 10 - 15. Here is a link. Newly registered members - Please read! Also remember many people will give you there opinion. There are differences between the 510, 901, and 801 and many have there favorite. I started with a 510 and use one everyday, but I also have found I like the 901 and my new 801 for different reasons. Some is flavor and some is draw. I have even found some is for how much eliquid I can put in the carts... I started with a 510 because it was the only manual at the time but now I have seen 901's also so it really is up to your preference. I don't know if this help at all so I am sorry but the best way to find out if you will like it is to try it.... |

Hi David - 15 before you can start a thread or post links. I've used all 3. All have good points/bad points. LOL Yah... I know, hard to choose and figure out what is going to work best for you. 901
801
510 (Joye)
Joye is recommended for 510 parts since for me they have been so reliable. I use both the 510 and Penstyle (302 atty) equally all day.

How bout this.. are you and Vicky (and anyone else that wants to meet up) free this Wednesday night? Around 7:00ish? No particular reason for that night or time, I can do any night this week and I'm fairly flexible with the time..but figured I'd just throw a day out and work from there. As for the place, Hazelwoods is good for me. We're all familiar with it and I work fairly close to there, but I"m definitely open for any suggestions. I'm not sure of any other Vaping friendly establishments (well, other than the Tilted Kilt on Warner and Kyrene, but figured you probably don't wanna see half nekkid girls or come that far east). I could really use a drink after the week I had last week haha so let me know if this works for you or what your alternative suggestion is. Let's do this!

I was just coming here to say how much I really want and *need* to meet some other vapers! I need to observe how/what you all do LOL If a noob can come to your little soiree, I would love to join. The only times I am not available are on Sat/Sun and Thursday night for kids sports! |

Hi All, I am a relative noob (4 months of vaping, ~ 2 months as a full switch from the 3 pack a day non-digital variety.) I originally got what seems to be a 510 nockoff, and 2 DOA mini paper weights, from there I graduated to a 901, 510, and 112 (pen style) USB passthroughs, and a myriad of accutrements for all. Two months sans tobacco, now I am helping friends make the switch. It is nice to see so many helpful people in the Phoenix area! Can anyone tell me if there is anyone selling the nicotine "juice" local in Phoenix (or steer me to a thread if I missed it I have a friend in dire need of Menthol, and I am not finding a place. (I am near 7th street and the 10 if that helps.
