Straw Mod

Thanks Hellen for the heads up on the straw mod....it doubled my vape time per cart fill! Its like night and day. I used a cart that I thought needed to be topped off...I cut that little straw, put in in and I didn't top it off and I vaped off that same cart for another 45mins..amazing! Anyone who is tired of constantly filling or topping off carts should try this one. I use a 901 so my cart capacity is small and that little straw is awesome. I dont know how to post a link to another thread so just search the forum for "straw modification" and it will get you there. Also..the good juice taste seems to last way longer too. : )

BTW, it is great with the 801 (almost should be mandatory, ha). Did you decide if you are going to get one yet?

I re-thought the straw mod for my 801. I used 2 straws, in opposite corners of the cart and WOW double the fun LOL. The vapor output is insane. My 801 attys are high bridge so I thought it might be kinda cramped in there but the taste is great and it vapes ALL the juice...I still top off just to keep my atty happy cause a happy atty lasts longer. I havent tried that in my 901 cause i dont think theres enough room..maybe Ill find a smaller diameter straw to use..but I was amazed at the improved vapor output. Anyone else try the dual straw mod? I highly recommend at least trying it..cant hurt, might help.

I ditched the straw because I didn't think it was helping with the refilling. But now that you mention it, I think I have been getting less vapor. Going to go find my little straws now.

Umm, nevermind... I just read somewhere else that I need to blow out my atty's I did that and they work great now. Producing amazing amounts of vapor.

Put 2 straws in my 302 (like an 801) and it seems to be just fine. Don't know if it is a real difference in vapor (my 302 pumps out vapor anyway) and can't tell if it is staying cooler (on my 5v passthrough, seems to be!). Will need more time to tell.

Hey, don't knock the 510. (Just kidding) It's doing exactly what I had hoped it would do...stop me from smoking. I haven't had an analog for ten days now, and don't even miss them. That's saying a lot for a 40 year ++++++++ habit.

Oh don't get me wrong, I love my 510! So does my husband so I had to order him his own so he would leave mine alone. I just want to try out the 901 too as I hear it's "The Bomb"
