Oohhmmm, oohhmm.
Thanks for the suggestion swer. I'm all out right now so I'm going to wait 'till tomorrow because I think there's a good chance that if I go to the store right now I will purchase a "pack".
This too shall pass.
It will pass.
Stop talking about "passing".
Who said that?
Oohhmm, oohhmm....
I don't presume to advise anyone on this, but when I get like that I don't purchase a pack but instead, I wait to see if it's a strong craving or a passing thing. If it does not pass I bum one from a friend. If I don't do this I will toy with the idea and roll it 'round in my head always wanting that which I can't have until the idea of smoking an analog becomes more exciting than actually doing so. Yes, I'm a bit nuerotic about it.
While many people will say the opposite, I personally found that the body and mind sometimes need a reminder as to why I gave them up to begin with. So, I smoke one and I finish it. I then look at the price I paid to smoke just one and compare it to the price of vaping. I immediately return to vaping. It's only happend me twice so far and I found that once I got it out of my system I am pretty much over it. Now when I smell smoke and get a craving, my previous encounter is still fresh enough in my mind that I think "I tried this already and got more grief than pleasure".
I dont think about purchasing a pack at all because I know I will get over it after I smoke just one and have 19 analogs sitting around and be $7 out of pocket because of it. I gave enough money to the poisonous ones. In more ways than one it's simply not worth the bother. But, I am not afraid to remind myself of "the bother" if it's really getting to me.![]()
Good Morning all you wonderful VVer's!I need to get some more Morning pics together, so today it's just a "Wishing you all a wonderful day" and isn't it hard to believe in less than a month from now, the kids will all be going back to school? I know Kitty is looking forward to the end of summer, but it still seems like the summer months always pass the quickest...just ask my son...he always complains about that!!

Yes, yes I am. My nerdy 16 yo nephew (Tyler!) is strange...he is looking forward to going back to school. "I LIKE learning!" I'm more inclined to think there is a girl involved.
Poor LouP. Is it bad that I sat here laughing while thinking to myself "Oh noooo! [snort]"
Have a good day, you wonderful VVers!
Hi All, Hope everyone has had a great day!
Swer, Thanks for your post. I don't feel quite as guilty now. Yes, I did ..smoke a stinky! There. I said it. It was yucky and tasted terrible and I smoked all of it anyway. I thought about it later and realized that it was just automatic to smoke it. Meaning before I knew it it was gone. I picked up my creme caramel and thought ooh..this is soo much better.
Aside from all the bad stuff with stinkies, what really struck me was that with vaping I have the control and with the "others"
they controlled me.
So I will put it behind me as a learning experience and move on to ...let's see..I think I'm in the mood for some Peach Perfect! Yum!
Yeah, I find rolling it around in your head can be worse than just smoking one. Best to tackle the issue as soon as it arises. If you have a good setup and have found the right eliquid, there really is no reason to not return back to vaping immediately. I suspect many who go back to smoking are dissatisfied with their vaping experience as it is, so its just a matter of time until they go back to analogs anyway. Really, why would you want to when you found a safer, cleaner method that does the same thing?
Of course something is to be said about tobacco alkaloids which I have read about that some crave. They say that is what is luring us toward a tobacco cigarette. I am looking to eventually try them to see if they are the missing link.

JUST KIDDING!![]()
Agreed. After giving in like that I'll know for next time a craving hits that it won't make anything better. After so many years of automatically reaching for an analog I guess it's to be expected. Neurons that fire together wire together.
I've read so many posts on ECF where people are frustrated and I think that many of them would be fine if they just had the right ejuice that worked for them. People seem to spend so much on trying different equipment instead of experimenting with different juice.
When I first started I had juice that was so thick it barely worked in my cartos (Bloog back then). Then I found one that really satisfied but turned out it caused sores in my mouth and on my lips! The next order went in the garbage and then I found Annette and her wonderful creations. Now I have no desire to try anything else.
I almost tried the WTA stuff awhile back but worried that it might just create more dependence.
We all use to have our own "brand" of analogs. Finding our own "go to" ejuice(s) is just as integral a part of the vaping experience imho.
Speaking of which, I've got to get me some more of that Coffee Monkey!!! I love the monkey!![]()
