Wrecked & Bonkers mod needed

I'm the mod of this group at the moment but would like to pass it on to someone else because I'm not very good with responsibilities.

Is there anyone in the group that you think would make a good mod? Please nominate if you have anyone in mind.

Hi everyone. Thanks for suggesting me... but might I suggest picking someone else? I can already moderate the group in a pinch if need be, since I'm...well... a moderator. Picking someone else would actually give the group two moderators in effect.

I'd suggest MaryKay if she's up to it... she's doing a fine job with the Women's group.

You guys aren't drafting me again! LOL As it is I spend my time trolling for ladies to join the Women's Room, How does one try to lure people to this room?

Realistically, moderating this group wouldn't entail much. It's not the moderator's job to increase membership. It's to make sure that the threads are kept civil and (loosely) on topic, and adhere to forum rules.

I haven't seen any problems in here yet that would call for active moderation. Probably the biggest thing I'd keep an eye out for are insensitive/moronic posters who would come in and make light of various maladies suffered by those who frequent this social group.

If it's a moderated/private group, it would also entail approving membership.

I was kidding..somewhat..about trolling for members! I do invite members when I can tell the girls from the boys LOL. The Women's Room is very easy to Mod..they just run quietly amok.
This forum requires a very light touch.

That's a possible good idea (approved membership). We just saw a member in the mental disorders thread hesitating to write his stories.
I know in my case I hesitated due to that...

What about you BigEyes and Kate51, might either of you be interested?

I think it's possible to make this a closed, invitation only group if we want Fred. If you think that's something we should do then maybe you could start a discussion about it.
