My heart goes out to you because watching someone you love die is so very hard. My prayers go out to you and my prayer will be that you will find peace and comfort through all of this. I wish I could give you a real hug but this will have to do.

My heart goes out to you and yours. I went through this in 2001. It just was not pretty. You are a very wise woman. I agree with your handling of the situation. You are her closest relative and it is your decision. I will keep you in my prayers.
Mom passed away this morning, she went quietly in her sleep.
Thank you all for the kind and generous support. It has meant the world to me.
So sorry for your loss MaryKay. I understand what you are going thru. I will put you and your family in my prayers. I knew it would not be long,when your mother said,she was dying. My mother said the same thing and a few days later she did. Just remember that your mother will always be in your heart.
The days ahead are going to be a roller-coaster for emotions throughout the whole family, and an extra load on the the matriarch...you have all of our best wishes and deepest sympathy. It hurts everyone's hearts and hope you and yours find much comfort in knowing that. God Bless..

I lost my mother 19 years ago and I still think of her every day and miss her. I feel saddened by the loss of your mother and I don't know either one of you. But I know emotions are similar in all of us fragile human beings. Please know my prayers and thoughts are with you.

MaryKay, I am so sorry for you and your family. If you need a shoulder to cry on or eyes to rant too I'm here for you. You all are still in my thoughts and prayers. If you need ANYTHING let me know.
My condolences to you and your family. Thank goodness for the passing "quietly in her sleep."
Thank you all so much. I can't begin to tell you how relieved I was when they said she passed away between her hourly checks. I had visions of another ER trip and all that entails.
But it's over now. She is with her family and soon will be laid to rest side by side with 4 generations of them.
