You must have a very special wife! You are lucky. I would have gone...lol! But then I have been married 33 years and Hubby and I have a very easy relationship..if he doesn't want to go, I just make sure he has whatever he needs and go. If he wants to go somewhere and I don't..he goes. (I can do for my self!)
I still say you should try to get her to go. Make sure she knows how much you appreciate her!
Other then that, see what you can do to make it easy enough on you to go with her. maybe the recipes will help, but somehow I doubt trying to live on yogurt and ensure is a good plan. can we say MORE diarrhea?

its not the nicotine it is a combination of the actual smoke from cigs that react with the body and help with UC. That is one of the main reasons I never quit smoking untill I met my wife. she is a non smoker and hated it. I quit because of her. Plus cancer runs in the family so I figured why not push my luck. I want to spend a long time with my wife.

so for thanksgiving she ended up going without me to visit family. it kinda sucked being without her but I did get to beat 2 video games. and got about half way through a 3rd one. even though I didnt get to do anything it was nice to be productive on some games I needed to beat.

I am glad to hear she went! It's good to be a bit selfless once in a while, It's good karma. On the plus side I bet she pampered you once she returned all nice and refreshed!
Plus..you really did need to beat those games..but did you remember to take the trash out?

actually she didnt pamper me when she got home. we had a little fight since I was playing the games.

nope I did take out the trash. she was mad cause I was at a place I couldnt pause the game and told her I would call her back in 15 min.

bad on you! I would have tossed the game out of the window..lol! Did I mention I have a temper?
My hubby gets lost in a show..I have to jump in front of the TV to get his attention. All the while he is saying uh huh and trying to look around me..lol
