Michael's, Hobby Lobby, and Walmart. Some Walmarts carry them in hobby area in the cake decoration area made by Wiltons and also near first aid. It's called Humco, has "Glycerin" across the label. That's where I get mine.

I havent looked in the DIY but is it as simple as say useing vegetable glycerin
and adding some van. extract?

I also mix my own 0nic, Lorann flavored VG juice. I buy my "Pure Vegetable Glycerin" from The Vitamin Shoppe. It is sold as skin treatment. It is about $8-9 for about 4oz. It is clear in color and flavorless. You can vape it by itself if you want. I highly recommend it.
