510 Passthrough/Charger - Does it exist?

All the PTs I've seen are either direct USB-to-atty, or have a 10440 battery in parallel. The battery ones, if I understand them correctly, basically use the batt as a big capacitor. They trickle-charge the batt constantly at low current, then when you take a hit, it pulls power from the batt instead of from the USB port.

My question is, does anybody make one that uses a 510 batt instead of a 10440? It seems like this would make a LOT more sense, as it would allow you to use it as a PT while charging your batt at the same time. Does this exist? If not, is there any reason why it couldn't?

There is such a beast as I am vaping on one as we speak, and you get a true 5V rather than 3.7V. They are know as "direct" passthrus. Found at most vendors under 510 parts and accessories.

Thanks, but that's not what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a PT that will also charge my 510 battery as I'm using it. Since most PTs have batteries, it just seems silly not to use one that I already have and needs to get charged anyway.

I don't think that exists. I think the closest thing you'll find are the Janty Stick and Bartleby mods that you can charge with a usb cable and vape at the same time.

That's an awesome idea a pt that hooks to your battery and charges while vaping damn I want one!
