Anglvapin, Get rid of the food supply. They eat bugs soooo check where they are congregating and spay with a people/animal friendly spray.
You also might try getting a cat.
Snake-a-way..I think that's the name of the product, found in farm animal food stores, maybe tractor suppy. Since snake and lizards are reptiles, it should work.
Try some moth balls. Make sure of the ingrediants first. I wouldn't want little kids or animals thinking they are treats! You could wrap them in netting first. It is just the smell you want.
This lizard eats insects, other lizards and is a higly prolific animal.
Malicedoll, I have 2 cats, both white with spots. I cleaned my couch with one of thiose sticky rollers and sprayed with fabreeze. Then I brushed with a clean brush. A friend of my mom's came over wearing black pants. I was horrified when she got up to leave and had a backside full of cat hair!
I'll try your method.
New tip:
Foggy Windshield?
Hate foggy windshields? Buy a chalkboard
eraser and keep it in the glove box of your car.
When the windows fog, rub with the erase
Works better than a cloth!

nice avatar shimmy! woot! rock on!!!
Hi Marykay.. i have never thought to use an eraser! i'll have to get one.. and you can also use a rubber glove.. the kind you use for doing dishes.. just put it in.. run it under some water.. give it a good shake and then run your hand over your couch.. it pulls up the hair into little balls and sticks to the glove.. just keep it slightly moist for the best job..
I hate lizards too, Angl!!! Gross!!! They are always on my front pront chillin' in the sun.
LOL - get chickens - that'll keep the lizards away, but then do NOT go walking around barefoot! LOL
Chickens are known to go for them, as well as mice if the mouse is unlucky enough to come out when a chicken is near. I love my chickens, they'll dang near eat anything. I did add Ducks and Guinea's to help with the bug problem we have.
There was a test done at somepoint, they compared Ducks (specifically Muscovy's) to fly traps - the muscovy's ate more flies than were caught in the traps! So I bought 6 little muscovy ducklings last year!
you would be surprised, I think there are alot of towns and city's allowing chickens (no roosters) and they limit the number and tell you the distance they have to be from your house etc.
Or you can get bantam size chickens, and call them PAROTS...a silkie chicken would pass for a "Asian ground parot"
