    Thx MaryKay,

    Love all your emoticons btw...
I needed that... I know, I sit and put things into perspective... Yep, my job here is never done, it seems. I do account for that- & I have a honey-do list a mile long of course... Just wish he would "do" a little more often- LOL
I can't complain too much... My husband is at 90% now... When he first got out he was at 60%... It took over 2 yrs for them to get him rated for the first rating... It was a nightmare to say the least... He got upped to 90% after his colonoscopy and a small operation that stemmed from what was found then... he had a heart attack and stent and multiple hospital stays and it has been since 2006... nothing yet... He was told if he filed for individual unemployability they would give him 100% right away- That is what makes me so mad- He was 39 when he had his heart attack, his dad died at 42 of a heart attack... When my husband had it, they saw massive scarring all over his heart indicating he had multiple heart attacks prior to "the big one" that actually sent us to the hospital... They put a stent in due to him having one artery w/ 100% blockage... the stent they used has a class action suit against it- It is a drug inducing stent that has been known to kill people due to the type of drug that is being released from it... They knew this when they used that particular one to put in him... He has been in the hospital many times since w/ complications- The VA here has no cardiac unit or doctors so he has to go there first, get sent to Duke (usually) which is 2 hrs away... I keep saying they are trying to wait until he dies- Grrrrr! & although with these problems, he looks healthy, he is still muscular, big body build type, and can work- yet they want him to sit around on the couch (filing individual unemployability) and then they will just GIVE him 100%- yet his file has been up at the rating board since 2006. they have issued more tests, ordered more physicals, etc etc and still haven't rated his heart condition... which was a direct result of another disability he has rated already... It is so maddening and frustrating... The biggest deal about the difference between the ratings is with 100% he will be allowed to go to the regular military hospital (Womack) rather than constantly the VA where he gets no help IF he were having another heart attack, stroke, etc... It would give all of us medical privilages through the military, commisary use, etc- the kids college, and so on and so forth... 90% doesn't allow him these things! And, of course, every time he has gone in the hospital, they have to send him to the civilian hospital... Duke, Pinehurst, Cape Fear... whereever they send him based on the existing problem, then WE get the bill- and the VA drags azz to take care of it to the point our credit gets hit... Good thing medical is not a huge deciding factor in credit- However, it does lower your score...(again, as a newly resigned Business manager, this was my job- getting people loans)- Grrrrr! Again! Oh man! Not meaning to vent again this morning... LOL
I talk to my son often, try to understand what he is feeling, We have a great relationship, which is great- I guess he could be feeling pressure too- & I am probably putting some of that pressure on him myself... I will take another long deep look at ME... I swear, I would never become my mom to my kids... I know we all say that, huh? Unless you had June Cleaver for a mom- LOL Which I did not... & no comment on my "all military dad"- loved the military but my dad didn't leave work at work- so at home we got the Drill Sgt style dad... We have taken care not to treat our kids like that...
Okay, I am rambling again- Good to get some of this out... The VA is probably the worst frustration right now- & because my husband had yet another appt recently which set this all off again for me... *sigh- as usual...

Luvs2, welcome to my world. But at least I am not trying to cope and deal with this with children in the house. I get to alternately pamper and beat him about the head..in peace! LOL

Sit back, take stock and do one thing at a time..well, not try to do 20 things badly. Give yourself a break and then the rest will follow.

    Hugs to you!

Sounds like some you time is in order!! A walk, a bubble bath with candles, just whatever relaxes you. Lots of times we get so caught up in the people we love, we forget to love ourselves.

finished repairing the road and decided to get out and go to the big town.. LOL went to Walmart, got a MP3 player, I don't know why I torture myself with tech stuff... but I think it will be worth it after I get it charged and start figuring it out... Been wanting to try some of the Garnier nutritioniste face products... did the Ultra-lift Pro line (too many years of smoking have taken their toll) and well I am really impressed with the dual Eye nice instant results it has two parts a lift cream for the upper eye and a gel that deflates under eye puffiness,, again really impressed for the instant results that are visable.. And I am very sensitive to skin products, I had no negative affects with the garnier products.. Saw someone mention Walmart was having a two pack sale on Lorann flavors for $2.00 so decided to try them.. I had an instant bad reaction to the capella drops heavy chest, and headache??? But the Lorrans agree with me better using Butterscotch in my Flu cured and it's nice, added a nice buttery flavor with extra vapor... and no ill affects so (yeah) so great day..... no worries....

Nice to get out and about huh Pat? I haven't tried garier products..might have to think about that!
lorann's has great fruit flavors..not as crazy about any of the dark colored ones..not for the color, but they seem chemical tasting to me. I will have to try again. Maybe the problem is not diluting them enough!
You need to get your out and abouts done soon.winter is coming!
For us it's the end of hurricane season..of course we have one swirling around in the gulf. With any luck it won't do much then rain in central Fl.

I did read the post about the coloring in Lorrans, I will look into the Flavorant place for my next order.. I am just not a fruit flavor type person lol... and I don't really like fruit in real life either so go figure... am loving this butterscotch with my tobacco flavors especially adding it to the Flu cured..

Just find this vaping nicotine so interesting.. I went the entire day without vaping, never take the e cig with me here locally. Took that long road trip and ran around all day long,, and not once did I think (oh I need a vape fix) ???? just interesting.....

Yes I know all about not wanting or needing to vape. I truly believe I could stop vaping now and be ok...but I like it! LOL!
I don't have that gotta smoke..feeling, you know where you are reaching for the analogs and have that panicy feeling? Nope, not now.

Walrus who makes his own line of liquids..says he has been using Lorann's forever and has never burned out an atty due to dark colors. I tend to belive him. I just don't care for the taste..but like I said that was a while back and maybe I just need to try again.

MaryKay your right about having an after taste to them, I tried to use the watermelon to enhance my watermelon flavor juice I had,,, and again,, I might just not like fruity stuff to begin with,,, lol but felt it had a strong icky after taste to it (like kool aid without the added sugar lol )... Didn't find an after taste with the butterscotch,, I'm like you always think ((ick)) but maybe it will taste better at a different time lol lol....

Took the dogs and the goats out for a walk down the road,, got a new Audio Book wanted to try it out on the MP3... It's called (you on a walk) has 3 different 30 minute walking routines set to music with Dr. Oz cutting in briefly here an there with some helpful tid bits... It's nothing over the top routine wise,, thought it was fun.... Everyone had a good time running around... The house is sooooo quiet, everyone is on nap time lol lol lol....
