I asked my DH to see what he had to say about it and part of his response was He's not sure, it's just in their nature and that no matter how old a man gets, farts are still funny as H*ll and they have been ever since the caveman days. He said imagine a loud fart echoing through your cave, and said "See, that's funny". He also said a bunch of other gross stuff in there that I just choose to leave out.

At the risk of being beaten for being less than properly feminine...

I find farts funny...mostly just other peoples but mine too (unless they're really loud or stinky)... but when guys do it I can't help but laugh.. I think it's quite funny to fart on my bf though (he always does it to me.. fair is fair) I think maybe because it's the sound they make honestly... it's just a funny sound.. when I was a kid I had a woopie cushion that I'd walk around the grocery store squeezing discreetly so people thought I or someone else was farting a lot... used to hide behind my mom in the check out line and make really loud fart noises to embarass her
