I didn't even notice that and it makes the picture soooo cute.

Good morning ladies!
Rainy Monday here, which means another day there will be no work on the sewer pipes in my back yard, another day of my back yard being a sea of red mud (the mud is red because it's red Virginia clay). But at least I can work today without all their noise! Gotta try to look at the bright side somehow![]()

Good Morning Ladies!!
How was mothers day ?? Mine was not great, you think after 20 years of centering my life around the needs of my kids and Hubby they could do a little something once a year to celebrate it. This is coming from the woman who received a bag of chips for her birthday and a jigsaw puzzle for Christmas. Maybe next year! I just need to have faith!
Just to explain,I didnt want a gift,or anything fancy.I just wanted to be thought of and maybe feel a little special. I seem to be feeling left out and unneeded lately. Everyone has so much to do and friends to be busy with. I guess its time for me to get out and make my own friends and be social. Im just not very good at that stuff. I have to give it a shot though or I will end up sitting alone.

Its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
Sounds like you need to make your own mother's day Keyzy. ((((hugs))))
a sea of red mud vs quiet..tough choice there, Catmom
Good morning ladies.
Well I'm enjoying the quiet right now but need to get up and do something. I'm just very sure it will all wait for me!
I didn't want anything for mother's day either Keyz, but they all know to acknowledge the day and hand out hugs and kisses. I'm cheap and easy.![]()
And good morning!!!!!!!

hugs ans kisses are probably the best gift anyway.![]()
Keyz, have to explained to them how you feel? Maybe they feel guilty because they didn't remember or didn't take the time to get you a card or a gift? This might be a good time to let them know that you don't care about the material things and you really just want them to show you how they feel.
I spent most of yesterday thinking "he forgot (or is ignoring) Mother's Day again." But he called late in the afternoon (after working and doing his grocery shopping, etc, after spending Saturday sick on his couch all day) and we just talked about anything that popped into our heads for about half an hour. That was a great Mother's Day for me![]()
