Did you guys see the guy who is lying about being in New Orleans when Katrina hit and dealing with the flooding and such. I think we'll have a slimeball to hate. Can't wait until Thursday to see the new bunch of players and see what surprises Survivor has for us this year.

Ok, I was hoping the promos about Russell would be him "kidding" but he does seem to be a true jerk. Sadly, Marissa (my fav after reading the bios) was the first to go. I've always wished they gave them a little more time before the first tribal council...it just seems so early to throwing someone off before they'd have a chance to get know each other a little bit better.

his dumb women alliance.. OMG!!! and old lady alliance? I felt bad for Marissa, and was wishing mr multi millionare would have gotten the boot, but then where would the drama be.

I'm torn between want them to catch Russel and get rid of him, and wanting to see him stick around a while to see what else he'll pull since it's so much fun to have someone to hate. I just don't understand demoralizing your team when it's still a team effort. That would make much more sense after the merge when it's a fight for yourself game. It just doesn't make good game sense to me.

Well, Russell seems to be an ego-manic and since he doesn't need the money he is just there for himself. I prefer my "villans" to be more subtle and not so nasty.

And is it just me, or does he have Charles Manson eyes? I can't believe anyone trusts him, the look in his eyes most of the time creeps me out.

Well, that poor team will be decimated in no time at all. I felt bad for Mike...but don't they give those folks a physical before hand to see what kind of shape they're in???

I would have preferred Ben to go home instead of Betsy.

I am a bit suprised they went after Betsy.. they pretty much lost the chance at the fishing stuff due to Ben tripping the rival tribe guy. One question we wondered about, last year the guy with the bug bite that went home, because medical pulled him the tribe didnt have to boot anyone that night. So why did they have to boot a person if Mike went home?
